Is this a person.
Is this a thing.
Does it have feelings.
Does it have a personality.
Is it a friend.
Is it an enemy.
Is it nice.
Is it mean.
Is it loyal.
Is it fake.
Can I trust it
Will it lie.
These are all questions I ask myself about myself and other people. I'm pretty sure most others do the same but faster in their heads when they first meet someone.
Me not she, not we, not he, not ye. ME!
I can be my own person,
I can also be a thing.
I have feelings,
I also have my own personality.
I can be my own friend,
I can also be my own enemy.
I can be nice,
I don't like to be mean.
I am loyal,
I am not fake.
I trust myself
BUT...
I do lie to myself.
I tell myself I'm fine when I'm not.
I tell my friends I'm fine when I'm not.
I lie to myself because I don't like what I'm lying to myself about.
I LIE TO MYSELF ABOUT WHO I AM, WHO I TRY TO BE AND WHO I WANT TO BE.
