(Roxanne’s POV)
After I had finished my tea, I stood up and walked to the kitchen with my mug in one hand. Once I reached the kitchen I placed the mug next to the sink then I sat down at the table with my head in my hands. I was thinking over today, about Riley. Why would he cheat on me? I tried being the best girlfriend I could be but I guess that wasn’t enough for him.
“Are you okay?” Someone asks, I look up and I see that Harry has sat down in the seat next to me, looking worried.
I sighed, “I guess.”
“Even though I have only known you for a few hours, I know that you aren’t okay.” He stated matter of factly whilst taking my hands in his and giving them a reassuring squeeze.
I sighed once again. Should I tell him? He seems like he wants to know and from the few hours I’ve known him he’s been really nice to me.
“Today, I caught my boyfriend of two years cheating on me.”
He looked shocked for a moment before saying, “Well he’s stupid to cheat on an amazingly beautiful and nice girl.”
I giggled slightly, “You’re only saying that to make me feel better.”
“I’m not.”
I blushed lightly and looked down with a smile on my face. I could see out of the corner of my eye Rain giving me an over-exaggerated wink before re-entering the living room.
“I want to get to know you better.” Harry stated randomly.
“Well why don’t we play twenty questions but it’ll end up being about ten questions since I am rubbish at this game.” I giggled slightly.
“Okay.” He said with a smile.
“You go first.” I smiled back.
“How many boyfriends have you had?”
“Three. What’s your favourite TV show?”
“Family Guy!” He replied with a smile on his face, “What’s your favourite fast food?”
“McDonalds! What’s your favourite film?”
“Love Actually.” He mumbled.
“What?” I asked.
“Love Actually.” He said louder this time.
“NO WAY! I freaking LOVE that movie!” I exclaimed with a grin on my face.
“Have you always wanted to dance?” Harry asked.
“Yes, that or singing and I thought being a dancer would be easier so I choose that one.” I answered with a shrug of my shoulders.
I was about to ask Harry the next question when he asked, “Sing for me.”
“No.” I simply stated.
“Please.” He said whilst giving me puppy dog eyes.
I groaned, “Fine, what song?”
“Wings by Little Mix.” He smirked.
“Why?”
“Just sing it.”
I took a deep breath and begun to sing.
‘Mama told me not to waste my life,
She said spread your wings my little butterfly,
Don’t let what they say,
Keep you up at night,
And if they give you shhhh..
