Run.
Just Run.
It doesn't matter you're tired! Just keep running for Gods sake! You're about to die Melody!
"A Little More!" A Voice rang out as the ground shook with each step. A Tall man with Horn-rimmed glasses ripped out a Thick looking blanket out of his beat-up backpack. But I know that wasn't any ordinary blanket. the Man slid onto the ground and dived under the Blanket. Then Two more people dove under. I Ran Faster, As they had a look of Urgency and Panic plastered on their faces.
'Come on Come on Melody!'
I gritted my teeth and dove belly first Under the blanket, scrambling to get my legs and feet under the blanket. But I was too slow. Panic Filled my heart and fear filled my Mind as a Low voice Shook the Ground.
"Where do you think you're Going?"
A Gnarly hand grabbed my exposed ankle, My heart stopped.
"Little girl."
A Scream formed at the back of my throat, But I refused to let it escape my lips. At least They couldn't see my expression.
"You should come out and-ACK!" His hand jerked away in Shock, Literally. I quickly pulled the rest of my body under the blanket or tried. A Handsome Man with Messy Black hair and a White Streak grabbed my forearms and yanked the rest of me into the blanket. Thank god.
"Clarity Now!" The same man yelled.
"Cover!" A honey like voice cried out from outside the blanket. Everyone under the blanket quickly Ducked and covered their heads. Here we go
"Wha-" The sounds electricity Crackled, Then a bloodcurdling cry of Pain Filled the Air. I could feel my hair stand up despite being under a Blanket. I Could see the flashes of lighting dancing across the The air, Filling the wide space. The Crackle and Pop of the Electricity Increased, And so did the volume of the scream. I Noticeability cringe at the Screeching, Sure he may have tried to kill us. But I still can't help it honestly.
Then All was silent. It was Like a broken CD, it just stopped. No crackling of electricity, No Dancing light, No Scream. But we waited, waited until we could come out.
Another moment of silence.
"All Clear." The Pleasant voice called out, but she sounded tired. Well, That's pretty natural Not going to lie.
I stand up, taking the heavy blanket with me. I shrug it off and see a A Black haired woman with her hands on her knees panting heavily. Long black hair is put in a simple side braid that hangs off her shoulder. She breaths out one more time and straightens up, her braid then falls to her shoulder. She looks at me, Piercing Amber eyes meet my Green gaze. Though I've been her comrade for a while now I still can't stop my eyes drifting to her scars. Lighting like scars Embedded into her skin stretch from her right cheek and down to her neck. But even so, she's still quite pretty.
Well as pretty as you can be in this world. We don't really have time to spend hours on putting on makeup, we're running for our lives here. Her Name's Clarity, Just Clarity. We don't know her last name, she even admits it herself that she doesn't remember her own last name.
"You alright There Clarity?" I Say, slightly quirking up my eyebrow. She gives me a smile and a thumbs up, Black latex Gloves stretched over her hands. "I'll survive Melody." She then replies.
A Tall Man with Messy Brown curls and Horned-Rimmed glasses walks past me and smiles at Clarity.
"Alex." Clarity greeted the man fondly, eyes sparking in familiarity.
"You alright?" Alex says, the slightest bit of worry creeping into his voice. She waves her hand dismissively. "Like I said, I'll survive, Just a bit tired."Clarity replied, again dismissing him. Someone lets out a low whistle, "Well I don't blame you Clarity." I turned my head and saw a man in short statue looking over the body. Oh right, Villain. He titled his head to the side, Dirty blonde hair followed suit.
"You did a really number on this guy."
Scorch marks covered his body and 'Armor'. He could Manipulate Trees, it was almost he was one. Thick tree bark covered his skin but is now blacked and smoking. His Leafy green hair has also been blackened. The tips of hair emitting smoke like the rest of his body. His eyes glossed over and dazed, looking up to the sky. The Scene was almost looked like it was some brutal cartoon. But Clarity had done this Number of people. It was kind of sad.
"I've done this many times Aron."Clarity said, almost taking the words right out of my head. "Still doesn't change the fact that it's impressive!" He replied in a sing-songy voice. Another one sighed. "We should get moving." A Black haired man's voice cut through the small clearing.
"Roger that Captain Blake!" Aron mock saluted. "Don't call me that." Blake Deadpanned.
"Hey guys what are we going to do with the body?" I Cut in. Everyone froze.
"What do you mean?" Alex Butt in. "Do what we always do of course." I Let a smirk take over my features.
"Of course, my Mistake."
