Me and Kai arrived at a old abandoned looking house near juniors, we got inside the house and Kai was searching for someone at the 2nd floor and the attic while I was looking at the 1st floor and the basement

Kai: You found anything or anyone dude?

You: I checked the living room and saw the TV was on and some food that seems to be warm

Kai: Maybe she's in the basement hiding

You: Or The attic

Kai: I'll go attic you go basement

You: Great idea

Kai goes to the attic while I slowly go down to the basement, as I entered the basement the first thing I see was a little bed and a lot of cookies and pastries on a table

???: W-W-W-Who are you *Points at you with a gun*

You: Woah Easy there little girl, what's you're name?

Chloe: C-C-Chloe Ambers

You: 'The fall maiden' you want to put the gun down?

Chloe: I don't trust you

You: Why are you here?

Chloe: My mommy and daddy died and I got nowhere to go *Sniff*

You: Have you been crying?

Chloe: Y-Y-Yes

You: Awwww come here Chloe

Chloe then puts down the gun and hugged me tightly

Chloe: I miss them *Sobs*

You: When did they died? And how did they died?

Chloe: They died 2 years ago and is because of a car crash

You: How old are you?

You: So they died back when you were 7 huh

Chloe: *Hugs tighter* Y-Y-Yes

You: Well my name is Y/n Rose and I come here to protect you

Chloe: Are you going to adopt me?
