4. I'm the alpha

"Do you really wanna know who I am?" Sanskar spoke. Ragini nodded her head positively.
Sanskar smirked and moved closer to her. She took a step back and he kept moving closer. She touched the wall and looked here and there. He pulled her by waist and whispered in her ear.

"I'm the alpha," Sanskar said proudly. He could clearly see the confusion in ragini's eyes. He already knew that it would be the only reaction of her, after he told her the truth. He caressed her hair and she could feel butterflies in her stomach.

"What does alpha mean?" She asked. He cupped her chin and tried to kiss her when she pushed him with all force. He was dead angry and ready to slap her, but made himself calm somehow as he saw that Ragini was dead scared.

"Alpha is the pack leader of the wolves  and a shapeshifter," Sanskar explained. Ragini was not able to believe whatever he is saying, she was dead scared and tried to run from there, but Sanskar stopped her.

"Leave me Sanskar I don't know whatever bullshit you are speaking is true or not, but if it's true then I am not safe here at all," Ragini said panting heavily. He pinned her to the wall and held her hand with tight grip.

"Obviously I'm speaking truth, what do you think it's a joke?" Sanskar said angrily. Ragini was so scared that she wasn't able to look him straight in the eyes and looked down. She just wanted to leave from here as soon as possible.

"If it's true then why the hell are you not letting me go?" Ragini asked. Sanskar punched his hand in the wall and Ragini jumped in fear.

"Because I am attracted to you, I am attracted to everything about you and I want you to be me with forever," Sanskar said. Ragini couldn't believe whatever she heard, it must be a sick joke. Him being alpha, leader of wolves and attracted to her, everything should be fake, she must have been dreaming but no it was damn reality and it struck her like anything.

"It's not possible Sanskar, I'll never be with you. Keep dreaming and I am going to leave this place as soon as I get a chance," Ragini said.

Sanskar was resisting the urge to slap her, instead he took her to his room and locked her up. She was screaming and crying to not to do it, but he didn't paid any attention and went to the hunt with the other members of his pack.

Ragini was on my mind during the whole time, even when I was having an important discussion with other members, I kept thinking about her and called off the meeting. I know whatever I did was wrong, but it's the only thing I can do so she won't run away.

I wouldn't be able to tolerate if she ever left me. If she can't be mine, she can't be of anyone's. I know I am behaving like a sick psychopath but I am attracted to her, how the hell I am supposed to ignore what I feel for her?

She must be hating me now, I don't blame her though. If I was in her place, I would do the same. I did really wrong with her, she was crying so much but I didn't even bother to pay attention to her. What the hell did I do?

Maybe I should go to her room and unlock it. Also if possible, I will ask forgiveness from her because I crossed all my limits this time. I was just too angry at that fact she wanted to run away but I shouldn't have give her this much  harsh punishment.

I drove the car to my penthouse. After a few minutes, I reached there and parked my car. I got down from the car and just as I was about to enter the house I got a call from my friend saying that there's an emergency.

So I left immediately from penthouse to our meeting place. I reached there as soon as possible and parked my car. I saw everyone's face had two expressions; sadness and anger. I didn't know what happened until one of them came and told me everything. My expression changed immediately and I could feel my blood start to boil.

"Our enemy pack attacked this place and took everything Sanskar they also beat many members of the pack few are dead and rest are injured, but many are safe since they were with me in other place," He spoke. Sanskar was angry and punched his hand in the wall.

"Dammit, you double the security in all our places understood? We have to be careful from now,
and as soon as the right time comes we will plan an attack on them, they have no idea they are going down soon," Sanskar said. Everyone nodded their head positively.

He took his car keys and left from there. On his way he saw a restaurant. He decided to stop there and have lunch. After few minutes he finished his lunch and decided to go back to his penthouse. He reached there late since there was traffic jam.

After 15-20 minutes he reached his penthouse. He parked the car and got down. He went inside the penthouse opening it with spare keys. He saw that the house was unusually quite, he thought maybe Ragini became tired so she stopped crying and screaming and went to sleep.

He took a quick shower and wore comfortable clothes. He made a coffee for himself and drank it. He thought to watch tv but then decided to go to his room and check upon Ragini. So he quickly went upstairs and reached to his room.

He unlocked the door by inserting keys. The door opened slowly and he was expecting to see Ragini but she was nowhere to be found. He even checked washroom and no one was there and then he realised that.....
