It could be a normal day,
You see your friends,
You go to work,
You go home,
Then it starts,
Suddenly you can't breath,
Suddenly you want to curl up,
Suddenly you're sobbing on the floor,
You try to breath,
But it feels like you can't,
You can't speak,
You can't move,
All you can do is think,
And think,
And think,
As slobber and tears run down your face,
You think,
You try to calm down,
'It's fine'
'Nothing is wrong'
'Why is this happening?'
'Please just make it stop'
You try to breath slowly,
But it doesn't work,
You try to scream,
But it doesn't work,
You feel like shit,
And then,
It suddenly stops,
Or you think it did,
You get up,
Take deep breaths,
And suddenly,
It starts all over again,
It feels like hours,
But it's just minutes,
So you get up,
Dust yourself off,
And lay down,
You can feel the anxiety and panic ebbing away,
But this is just like any normal day.
