"who's your hero, son? Everyone needs a hero in their life it doesn't matter if you're a boy, you still need someone to be your hero, your protector, your guardian, because man can hurts too. I hope you know who is your hero, son." the man who is laying in a bed said to his only son.

"You are my hero, dad." the 16 years old boy said.

His father smiles at him and said "I knew you will say that. But son, hero is someone who will stay by your side till you die. They protect you until you take your last breath. They don't leave before you. I am not your hero and I can't be one, because I will leave you. A hero doesn't has to be your father. it can be your friends, your teacher, your lover, and your children." he looks at his father with a teary eyes. His father stares at him lovingly and hugs him one last time before leaving this beautiful world.

That's the last conversation I had with my father before he passed away. I remembered crying beside him and refused to let go of him until, Larry, my father assistant came and took me outside so they could carried his body. I was in deep thoughts when a pair of arms make their way around my waist and it making me smile.

"You ok?" my beautiful girlfriend asks me.

"Yeah I'm ok." I turn back and circle my arms around her curvy waist and she puts her arms around my neck.

"Why am I not convince by it? she raises her brows. I laugh and shake my head.

"I swear to God I'm fine, love." I said caressing her sides.

The way she looks at me is full of love and passion and I couldn't be more happier knowing that this angel in my arms is my girlfriend. Despite our 3 years relationship she still can take my breath away. I still remembered we met on her mom's birthday party and she was wearing that beautiful golden dress that suited her so well and I being a jerk tripped her on purpose and making her land in front of everyone. I still feel bad about it till now.

"What are you thinking?" she said rubbing my neck.

"I was reminiscing the past. The first time we met. I still remember what I did to you." I said smirking at her this cause her to hit me on the chest.

"You were so cruel that time and I hate you so much I will never forget what you did to me. I was so embarrassed that everyone had to see it and this was all your fault." she said annoyingly.

"But you love me right now, do you?" I ask getting closer to her that our nose bump into each other.

"You damn right I do love you even if you can be a jerk sometimes." she smiles.

"I love you too, sweetheart." I said kissing her all over the face and she giggle.

We are hanging out in the living room, our legs rested on top of the coffee table in front of us and tangle around each other. We are watching 'The Notebook' which is our favorite movie of all time. My girl is sleeping beside me and I chuckle because she was the one who asked me to watch it with her and now she felt asleep in the middle of the movie every single time. I turn off the tv and carry my sleeping girlfriend to our bedroom. I lay her down on her side and leave her there for a minutes to go to the bathroom. I come back later and lay down behind her, I wrap my arms around her and pull her closer with her back to my front.

"Goodnight, babygirl." I say kissing her neck.

"Goodnight, Zee." she says sleepily. I smile and go to sleep.
