ETHANE'S POV

"I was just trying to be polite to her, but nah, she acted so rude." I complain to Sam.

" Bruh you are so insensitive, you clearly saw that she was hurt and it might be hard for her to just trust you. I think she is a pretty smart girl, not accepting rides from complete stranger." Sam said

"you do make sense, ill try to talk with her again." I say in a thankful gesture

"no biggie, I'm just great you know." Sam chirped.

We entered the school together on time. We made our way towards the reception to take our schedules that we couldn't take yesterday due to certain pig, ahem* Sam ahem*

We checked our schedules to see that we had most of our classes together and made our way towards the corridor. I scan the crowd for the ginger hair girl and a slight disappointment forms in the pit of my stomach when I couldn't see her anywhere.

"hey Sam, ill see you in class okay." I inform Sam. "okay." I hear Sam say as I make my way to the classroom I had been yesterday. " I hope I can find her here." I thought. Finally reaching the class I opened the door and peeked inside, no one was in there, I let out a disappointed sigh and check my schedule. " biology class, not bad." I mumbled and walked to the class I say earlier that had biology written on the door.

I opened the door and entered. The teacher stopped teaching and everyone looked at me. The guys gave unfriendly looks while the girls whisper something among themselves and nudged elbows at them. I rolled my eyes, typical girls and boys." I'm Ethane." I say before the teacher asked me. "well Ethane, I am miss Arora and will be teaching you biology." I snickered. "is there a problem?." Miss Arora ask with an eyebrow raised. " hmm....other than the fact that you have a name of a princess, nothing." Everyone laughed and surprisingly Arora laughed too. " I asked the same question to my parents, I mean what were they even thinking." I like her, I grinned. " well ethane take a seat." She points at the vacant seat.

I scan the rows and see the girls giggling when I pass my eyes on them, I internally groan, I turn my head to the corner back seat beside the window and see her. The girl from the room, her face was covered with her hoodie but I knew it was her. Luckily the seat beside her was empty and I sit there. Everyone in the class gasps and she abruptly looks at me. Recognition clearly visible on her face. I cringe when I look at her face. I didn't see her that well yesterday but now when I look at her closely, I see her tired eyes, her busted lips, the bruise on her jaw and cheeks that she tried to hide but failed. I wished that I could just kiss her and protect her from whatever bad that's happening to her. I look into her beautiful set of green eyes contrasting mine, which are fuming in anger. I lean in, " who did this to you?."
