Grace: I have to tell Lucy about this!!
Lucy came around the corner to lunch with a boy wrapped around her. She looked so happy. She looked so loved.

She would fake a smile. She was pretty good at it by now.
Grace: who's, uhh, who's this?
Lucy: oh! This is John. I met him over the summer and we didn't go to the same school, but apparently we do. We hit it off then.
Lucy would kiss John right on the lips.
Grace knew to be happy for her friend but was she really wasn't.

Grace: let's all sit here
Lucy: sorry Grace. I'm going to go sit with johns friends for today.
Graces heart was broken. She sat down at the empty table, no friends, eyes glistening. She barley took out her lunch when a voice startled her.
