[The story will always be narrated from Liam's POV.]

The phone rang waking me up.

I battled my eyes open and looked around, trying to understand what had just happened. I looked at the TV: The Harry Potter movie I was watching had turned into a pink flamingo documentary. Apparently, I had fallen asleep. Watson was snoring with his head on my legs.

"Move, you monster" I said as I reached the phone that kept ringing; "Hello?"

"Took you long enough" a voice answered at the other end of the line.

"Andy!" I said recognising his voice, "What's up, mate?"

"What are you doing?"

"I was... about to take Watson for a walk" I lied standing up and walking to the kitchen, Watson at my heels, the word 'walk' making him wave his tail from side to side.

"You can walk him later" Andy said, "take a shower and get dressed, we're going out tonight"

"Andy, I really don't feel like..."

"I really don't care what you feel like, James" Andy replied (he always calls me by my middle name when he wants to annoy me), "You haven't gone out since New Year's and this party is the perfect occasion"

"Hang on, mate, party?"

"I'll explain everything later. Suit up"

And without even giving me time to answer, he hung up.

"Well, looks like your walk is gonna have to wait" I said ruffling Watson's ears and making my way to the shower.

Andy rang my bell an hour later.

"I thought we could take the Batman car" he said with a smirk

I sighed and took the keys, Andy calling dibs on the driver's seat.

"Are you gonna tell me where we're going?" I asked as we got closer to the centre of London.

"A friend at the UCL has organised at party to welcome the new school semester in one of the Halls of Residence" Andy explained making a turn on Trafalgar Square, "and since you've never been to a college party I thought you'd enjoy it"

"I have been to a college party!" I jumped turning to him.

"Hey, don't protest!" Andy said, stopping the car by a building; "here we are. Wanna park it?"

I stared at him in disbelief.

"Fine" I said rolling my eyes and taking the car keys he was handing me, "I actually don't want you scratching it, to be honest"

"Perfect. See you inside!" Andy shouted running to the house.

"Andy! Andrew!" I yelled but he had already entered the residence; "Dickhead" I cursed shaking my head and entering the batman car.

Luckily, I found a car exiting and the spot was big enough for mine, so I parked it in a matter of seconds.

Then I made my way to the Halls of Residence.

A boy vomiting on the sidewalk welcomed me.

"Hope you handle yourself a lot better than him" Andy said patting my back and guiding me to a group of girls; "Liam, they're..."

I saw his lips moving and the girls smiling at me, but the music had started playing so loudly I couldn't understand a word. I politely smiled at them and I could make out 'One Direction', 'break' and 'big fans'.

I smiled again, said: "Thank you, darling" to the girl who had said it, and excused myself saying I needed something to drink.

It was a lie, of course. Even a year after having a child, Andy still tried to introduce me to tons of girls. I didn't blame him, girls liked me easily and after mentioning my baby boy most of them lost their interest and went to Andy. It was a great strategy. But I was tired and really didn't want to talk to anyone right now. I could use a beer though.
