That's Yang's work clothes.One year before Beacon
Yang felt like shit. She was behind on payments for bumblebee, and she ran out of dust rounds for Ember Celica. She could ask her father for help, but that'd be weakness. All of Yang's problems were compounded by the fact that it was the anniversary of the day her crush, (Y/N) (L/N), got married. (Y/N) was only a year older, but he had dropped out of combat school due to him becoming a father. Later he began to get famous, and Yang started seeing him more and more on the TV
Yang was currently on her way to Frank's bar to apply for a job. She would go to Junior's, but she heard people at Franks get paid better. She walk in and looked around. After seeing that it was a clean establishment she walked towards the manager's office.
"So, you're Yang Xiao Long?" A voice called as soon as she walked in
"Umm, yes sir"
"Good, and it's Mahk, sign here" he says pointing to a dotted line
"Shouldn't I read it?"
"It basically says I pay you if you shout up 5 days a week" Yang thinks about it and signs her name. The manager puts the contract into a folder and motions Yang to follow as he walks out.
"So Yang, do you know what type of people we get here?"
"The rich and celebrities who wanna not be recognized"
"Correct, now, what would you do if you saw a celebrity?"
"Depends who it is"
"Incorrect answer, you treat them like normal, the people here just wanna be treated like normal" the last of the guests left and the manager turns on the news only to turn it off quickly due to the segment being about a drive by. "*sigh* fucking hoods"
"I don't think that was the hood. Junior's was in the background, and that's a few blocks down the road"
"You know why this is happening?"
"People are pissed their music can't compete?"
"No, it's music lyrics AND violent video games"
"Wot?"
"Doesn't matter, just get to work, and change into your uniform" Mahk says walking away, leaving Yang by herself. She walks to the restrooms, changes, and gets to work. It's shorter than I wanted a first chapter to be, but this is a good ending point.
