NIGHT | YOURS TO CALL, BUT YOU AREN'T MINE

She puckered her lips as she looked at herself in the mirror. Dabin applied whatever she found in her pouch, she could make cheap make-up look expensive. Years back, she even became a make-up artist for celebrities in the states.

"You look hot, honey." She smirked.

"And it's all thanks to you." Hyori shrugged her shoulders as she put on a smile. Lifting herself up from the couch full of party clothes, which Danbi had tried on moments earlier, she headed for the fridge. Hyori wrapped her fingers on a small bottle which she always drank whenever she would have herself at Danbi's.

She popped open the bottle and rested her lips at the tips, tilting the bottle to drink the product. She breathed out, plopping down on the couch.

"Dear, you looked like you could star for a commercial." Danbi giggled, continuing to apply more make-up to her bare face.

Hyori sheepishly smiled at her. Delving her hands deep in her pocket, she came in contact with her phone, she grabbed it and turned it on.

Hyori's eyes rolled all the way to the back when her screen was flooded with notifications, all coming from Wattpad.

"Holy shit!" Hyori covered her mouth, still left in shock because of the event.

"What did you just say?!" Danbi's face grew red, her face was written with a thousand emotions, it was indescribable. Her hands rose up from the sides of her hips to the sides of her head. Hyori thought she was going to strangle her and yell at her because she sweared. But instead, she pulled her into a hug and sobbed in her shoulder. Hyori scratched her head. Confused why Danbi would sob.

"I'm so proud of you! You finally said it!" She wiped her tears with her handkerchief and continued applying make-up.

"But what happened that made you so shocked that it made you, the one who's a good girl, swear?" She asked, wiping her hands with a spare cloth.

"So apparently, I have 40k followers in Wattpad." She added. Internally squealing.

"Woah, how did you get that?" She plopped down beside Hyori and swung her arm around her neck.

"So my poem book blew up. But my other book is more populated." Hyori showed her the poem she worked on every time she would get back from her part-time job.

" A Woman's Smile

she would smile, sorrow lurking in her eyes

a smile so easily fooling, when in sleepless nights she cries

eyes, sparkling, reflecting the crying skies

she carries on her sorrow, like there's no hope over tomorrow

her grieve dragging her, when she had sought to throw it all away

her touch felt like paradise, wishing to be held for just one more day

she hides her gloom, keeping it hidden well, acting it like a screenplay

she kisses you goodbye with her eyes gleaming with her diamond tears

but she leaves you, she's too hurt, to last one more second to be here.

knowing she could easily make love as her fear. "

"Dang, girl, you really hit me with that."

"I wrote it, based on myself and how I feel."
