Weylyn's POV

I'd been thinking all day how to get myself out of the situation I didn't even get myself in. The whole point of a mate anyway is ridiculous to me, but apparently it's a must. There was no option, no escape, it was just a must. The only positive about her being a human is she doesn't feel it, she has no clue.

"Weylyn!" I look up to my dad as he raises his voice. He was sitting down at the end of the table, his chair as he put it.

"Yes?"

"Your mother has been trying to talk to you for the past minute, what is so important you had to ignore her?"

I couldn't tell my family, never mind my dad. My mum would obviously be in love with the idea of having grandchildren, and me a mate. Whilst my dad would hate the idea she were human, I'd have to change her that day, with or without her permission.

"I was thinking, sorry"

"About?"

Apart from the anger, controlling was another great characteristic my dad had. It is obviously in his and our natures, but he was extra. He had to know every little thing about every one that deemed of importance.

"Probably Charlie" Rudi needed to put in a comment, of course. Something to start a little bit of drama.

I knew making a scene in front of my whole family dinner would look the littlest bit suspicious. So I acted as if I didn't care, and let Rudi's comment slide.

"Who is Charlie?" My mothers little voice was sometimes hard to be heard around her boys. She wasn't weak, but just calmer than us, and more considerate.

"She's a friend of Randell and Rudi's mum" I look up to her eyes, masking my bluntness.

"Is she not your friend?"

I didn't know how to quite answer this correctly. I don't lie, I merely just avoid answering questions properly.

"Not a close friend"

"Well that's not what it looke-" I couldn't let Rudi's mind games ruin what I had been trying to hide. I transmitted him across the table, making sure he heard me clearly.

"If you say anymore about her to mum or dad, I'll make sure Jen knows what the older Blakesley has"

His eyes made quick contact with mine, I could see his glint with rage, but I'm just happy it worked.

-

After the awkward tension at dinner died down, we were all excused. Randell and Rudi went on their PlayStation or something other, Ralph had business to take care of. As for Channon, well he followed me to my room.

Out of all my brothers, Channon and I were the closest. I guess I felt bad for him being the youngest. In any other family that wouldn't be an issue. Sadly for him, we aren't any other family, which meant he was also the smallest and weakest.

"Weylyn what colour do you think my wolf will be?"

"Pink, maybe green" I looked at him with a smirk, whilst his face dropped.

He loved what we were, but that's because he hasn't grown up yet. He doesn't actually realise that it's not all it's made up to be.

"Come on seriously, I hope it's black like dads"

"What you don't like my wolf?" I pretended to look hurt by Channon's eagerness to be like dad.

Which obviously worked greatly, "Oh no no I do Weylyn"

"I'm kidding with ya sprout" I ruffle his light blonde hair up, which I knew he hated, as he always tried to rugby tackle me off him.

It never worked.

"Weylyn we need to talk," Ralph looks at Channon instructing him to leave, which Channon bows his head down and walks away.

"You don't have to be an ass to him"

"I'm not an ass to him, I'm actually very nice to him compared to some other people," that was probably true.

Ralph had always been like dads minion, rude, controlling and an overall dickhead. I didn't blame him for it though, we all know it was dad who shaped him this way.

To be his perfect successor.

"What do you want?" I look him over suspiciously, he never really spoke to us anymore, only when he needed something.

"The Lincolnshire Alpha, Tate White is here, I'd like you to find out why."

"I already know why," Ralphs eyebrow raised in surprise before moving his hands in a forward action for me to continue, "he's come to see Charlie."

I tried to not let my emotions get the better of me. If Ralph new I'd found my mate, he wouldn't care that much. But if he found out she were human, he'd defiantly not think twice of telling dad.

"The girl mentioned at dinner," his eyes narrowed and he looked even more intrigued than before.

"Yes."

"Why?"

"To fuck I guess" the words rolled off my tongue as if I wasn't phased, but I could hear my wolf growl from inside of me.

"Well as long as it's only pleasure and not business," I could feel the blood run to my face, my knuckles were white gripping tightly on my bed sheets.

Ralph was still staring at me, waiting for confirmation.

"Yes only pleasure."
