What am I to you?

I was expecting to have an amazing day- not until I caught Marcy and PB kissing. I came to realize why PB was rejecting me all along! But that doesn't really matter now, especially that Flame Princess is already engaged with someone as evil as her father on their kingdom. I knew the fact that I haven't moved on ever since we broke up.

"Finn, you look sad." Beemo said with his robotic voice, tapping my shoulders.

"Thanks for stating the obvious." I felt betrayed because they didn't told me about their certain word that ends with 'ship' and how the engagement punched me hard in the face. Sucks to be me.

"Aw- stop the sadness! I'm bakin' pancakes, bakin', bakin', pancakes!" Jake sang and he looked really delighted, he was jumping up and down, good for him. I felt guilty though, he was accompanying me ever since he heard about the engagement. He left the daddy duties for me.

"I got a new game, Finn! I actually downloaded this just for you." Beemo, then, flashed a game on his screen that catched my attention. "Parallel, what-" I said, mesmerized with the game.

I wonder how this works?

"Is it two players?" Jake said, turning off the stove and feverishly half-runned towards us.

"Yes it is, but I'd like Finn to try it first." Beemo said, winking at me. 

Wait- what is that suppose to mean?

"That's unfair!" Jake exclaimed.

I stared at Beemo, giving him a look that says ' what's the wink for?'

"Just do it, Finn." His smile was almost like a wicked one, I blinked multiple times, digesting his double-meanings.

I glanced at Jake, looking displeased. "Just do it, Finn!" He said, rushing me. I raised my eyebrow and sat infront of Beemo, grabbing the console. I pressed the start button and I am very horrified to see LSP with a facial hair-

"What the what-" I exclaimed, "You didn't download this, did you?" Jake claimed, squinting his eyes. "Ha-ha!" He was obviously lying about the thought that he downloaded the Parallel game- I wonder what's that supposed to mean. Fighting over our look-alikes? That's quite a challenge.

"Alright, I made this game for Finn." Beemo said, flashing a crying emoticon on his screen. We stared at him asking for more details, "Because he was mourning for Flame Princess' engagement for a week now and to sum it up with Marceline and Princess Bubblegum's relationship that they announced by kissing infront of everyone."

I groaned, "I don't need the 'pity'. I can handle this myself, I'm a big boy." They both looked at me as if they were annoyed, "Yeah, big boy. " Jake taunt, rolling his eyes. 

"Just play it, Finn!" Beemo said, frustrated. I fixed my eyes on the screen and played one player.

 "What the heck-" I exclaimed and I'm about to throw the console when I lost the game for three times already! "Chill, man." Jake said, and glanced at Beemo. "Can we play now? Finn can't win the game himself, thanks for making the game hard." He added and grab the other console and sat beside me.

"That was close!" Jake said because a blue monster almost hit him on the game, his eyes still focused on the screen.

We came across a dungeon and a choice popped on the screen if we would enter or just pass, "Finn- we've come this far, we should pass don't you think?" He asked, then wiggled around.

"But, we're adventurers!" I reasoned out.

"Nah- we shouldn't risk it." Then he pressed the left button, that means he chose to pass the dungeon. 

Something suddenly popped, it says 'Let not fear conquer you, take the risk.' I frowned, I heard Jake groaned. "Did this game called us a coward- in a nice way?" He said, popping his eyes. I nodded, but yeah that was a weaklings' choice. 

We both got hit by a monster earlier- now, we only have two lives left. 

Curiosity runned through my veins when I saw a water portal in the game, "I do think that we should enter that portal." I said, lightly nudging Jake because his attention is obviously not in the game but in his nose. He keeps licking it.

"Yeah, yeah." He said, grabbing the console.

I got confused when it didn't popped a choice- so we're supposed to enter this? I was in awe after entering the portal- is that it? We should've entered the dungeon instead.

"That's a lame ending, Beemo!" Jake said, frustrated.

"Just wait for it- oOOH!" 

Jake and I both panicked when 'error' flashed on Beemo's screen. "Beemo? Beemo? What's happening-" Then a water portal popped infront of us and it come from Beemo's head! What the flock?

"I didn't expect that'd hurt." Beemo said, caressing his head.

"You plan this?" Jake said, squinting his eyes. 

"Uh huh! Welcome to my plan-" Then he pushed us on the portal, and thankfully we grabbed him before everything turned white. I heard his cute scream earlier.
