"Please, keep staring. Not like I'm talking to you or anything. Go ahead and eye fuck him."

I sigh and reluctantly turn back towards Mila. Who was probably beyond annoyed since I was the one who dragged her here in the first place.

"Sorry, but not like you were saying anything of importance." I say while shrugging.

Mila glares at me. "Nothing of importance? You're an ass Rion. Why are we even friends again?" She says turning her glare towards her forensics book. I grin at her, even though she's not looking at me anymore.

"Because you're a grade A bitch with high standards and I'm a gay asshole."

Mila slowly starts smiling down at her textbook and I know it has nothing to do with hair and fiber evidence. She looks up at me and sighs. "Okay, I'm really not pissed that you dragged me to the library and ignored me to eye fuck Archer. Just go talk to him or something."

Now it's my turn to sigh, we've been doing that a lot lately. "You know I can't."

"Your sex life has more issues than vogue."

"Why are we talking about my sex life?"

"Because we are talking about your sex life."

I was about to reply when the devil in the form of a high school student walked into the library.

"Speaking of sex. There's a walking talking form of reasons to abstain from having sex."

Mila raises an eyebrow and turns to look where I'm staring at. She laughs immediately upon seeing the devil.

"I think you need to stop watching so many movies."

"Look him in the eyes and try to tell me he's not the devil."

Mila stares at me for a few seconds then grins at me before turning around in her seat and yelling across the library.
"HEY ACE! COME HERE." Mila shouts, earning a glare from the librarian which she promptly ignores.

"What the fuck? I didn't mean to call him over here." I hiss but Mila just waves me off.
Ace makes his way over to our table and casually dropping down into the seat beside Mila, "Mila and Rion, to what do I owe the pleasure?" He flashes a smile at me, condescending asshole.
Mila stares at Ace long enough for his right eye to start involuntarily twitching, he rubs his eye and let's out an uncomfortable chuckle. That seems to break Mila out of her one sided staring contest and looks over at me, shrugging "I don't see it." Mila looks back at Ace and starts happily chatting away like she didn't just stare him down for a good two minutes.
"So you finished the study guide for forensics right?"

Ace looked at Mila unsure but slowly nodded, Mila full out grinned. "Great! Can I see it? I'm struggling here and Rion is being useless right now." Ace looks over at me then slowly lets out a sigh, and turns back to Mila. Ace takes out the packet from his backpack and slides it over to her without another word.
Mila lets out a huge sigh of relief and begins taking pictures of the pages.

After Mila is done, she slides the packet back over to Ace and glances up at me, "I'll send the pictures to you." I just shrug and look back over to where Archer is sitting but notice out of the corner of my eye Ace looking at me.
"You can leave now." I say to Ace, not even masking the disdain dripping from my voice.

"Rion! Don't be rude." Mila glares at me.

"Oh that wasn't me being rude but if he stays any longer I will be." I say glaring over at him.

Ace was about to answer back to me when the heavenly voice spoke.

"Hey Rion, come on." I look up to see Archer standing a few feet away, giving that look I've been getting for awhile now.

"Coming." Mila stifles a laugh as I gather up my stuff. I roll my eyes at her. "Bye Mila, I'll text you later. " I was going to say something rude to Ace when I saw him glaring over at Archer. He must of felt me staring because he looked over at me.

"Falling in love must be so hard on the knees, huh Rion." With that he stood up and stormed out of the library.

AUTHORS NOTE - okay so I rewrote this first chapter and I might have to do the rest of the chapters because I need to rewrite how I first portrayed Ace and kind of make my last chapter make sense with the whole storyline.

Plus archer seems so vague and nothing to him so I need to give him more development.
