Chapter 1 school & not wanting to go on tour.

Hey, I'm shanice Higgins I'm 16, I'm 4'6 , I have blue eyes and brown hair, before you Ask Paul Higgins isn't my dad he's my step dad but he's like my dad because my dad left me when I was born so my mum met Paul and he's been here for me my whole life, I actually do call him dad and I have a little brother mum had his baby and they're married, you think I'm a good girl because I have to be I'm not papazzi follow me because my dad is famous because he's the body guard of the boyband one direction, my dad is hardly home and I miss him loads but he has to do it to get us what we want, and no I've never met one direction and I'd rather not.

At the moment I'm at school with Sophie cowell, that's right simon cowells daughter, guess what lesson we're in? That's right P.E, we're doing fitness and well that's what we're meant to be doing anyway, we're actually taking selfies, on each other's phone & me and Sophie never do PE we're so lazy it's unreal and we're still skinny but also eat so much! We're popular because people try being our friends when they only wanna be our friends to meet 1D they don't believe I've never met them.

"Shanice, Sophie put your phones away and warm up" miss Johnson said

"We are our thumbs are warming up" I said

"You need to warm you body not your thumbs" miss Johnson said

"My thumbs are apart of my body, my thumbs are connected to my hands which are connected to my arms which is my body" I sarcasitly said

"Get out" miss Johnson said

"If she goes, I go" Sophie said

"Both just get out my class"

So we both walked out of her class and got changed then we just walked around school we walked past the class our other 2 friends are In, Emily & Kelsey, and we waved and the teacher saw us so we ran to the staff room because my mum Is the assistant head teacher.

So we walked in the staff room and my mum was there. Shit. We was gonna run but she grabbed my arm.

"What did you do this time shanice" my mum said

"Nothing" I said a bit to fast

"Tell me the truth"

"Fine we was taking selfies and texting, so miss Johnson told us to stop and to warm up and I said to her we was warming our thumbs up" i replied to her

"I told you, you've got to stop being a smart ass to the teachers and do what your told and stop being so lazy" mum said annoyed

"Okay whatever mum, I've got to go to next lesson now"

So me and Sophie walked to put next lesson because the bell rang. Our next lesson is maths. We walked I'm and sat in our seats which went Sophie , me, Emily and Kelsey. Emily and Kelsey was talking I was falling asleep and Lucy was just sitting there doodling.

"What is the answer on the board Shanice?" Miss Anna said

"SHANICE" she shouted

"Romeo and Juliet" I shouted

"We're in maths shanice not English now stay awake" she said angrily

"But miss some people like their sleep" I said to her

"Well not In maths"

"Well I do"

Miss Anna ignored me and went back to teaching I high fived Sophie then the bell went for lunch mine and Sophie's favourite lesson of the day.

Me and Sophie was walking to the lunch hall when I looked down and saw my mum talking then kissin my dad I showed Sophie

"She's rang him to come get me again". I said to Sophie

"Shit. Run." She said to me

As we ran my dad saw and started chasing after us and me and Sophie just laughed then we hid behind a bush and he went past. We lost him, we came out and he picked me up and threw me over His left shoulder and Sophie on his right.

"Nice ass dad" I sarcastically said to him.

He just ignored me and carried us through school we just waved to everyone like it was normal... Well it kind of is for us..

He walked out of school towards the car and put us in it and started driving

"Shanice I'm so disappointed in you I dunno what's made you be like this..."

"Well maybe because I never get the see the only man I love and that is my idol he leaves me at home with my mum and all I want is my dad, but he's always to busy to notice me then when he comes home he's too busy with his baby boy and his wife to notice his daughter anymore"

"I'm sorry you feel that way" he said

"I'm sorry I feel that way too, I'm sorry I was ever born, maybe everyone will be happier"

"You don't mean that" he said

"Yeah I do"

We pulled up outside uncle Simons office and me Sophie and dad walks in.

"Girls what did you do this time"

We explained what happened and he just laughed.

"Well girls we have to tell you something" Simon started

"Now your both older, your going to be touring with one direction, so you can spend more time with your dad shanice and Sophie your going so shanice isn't on her own" Simon explained

"Wait will I have to share a tour bus with them?" I asked

"No your both sharing with Lou lux and your dad"

"Okay, then well go" Sophie said. Sophie likes one direction and has been wanting to meet them for years on the other hand I don't like them and I don't wanna meet them. (AN: this is just for the story)

"No"

"What did you say" my dad said with anger in his eyes"

"NO, I'm not going"

"Yes you are" dad said

"No I'm not leaving my life behind"

"I thought you wanted to spend more time with me you said in the car how you miss me and not being around enough then when we offer you things you say no, I dunno what to do"

I just walked out with tears streaming down my face..
