This is chronological to the last update! Woo! It mightn't ever happen again, so be honoured.

After Lucy moved in with the Lupins, Harry was like ‘you know what, Will? Fuck it, we should buy a place.’ And I was like ‘Harry, that sounds fucking grand.’

So we shopped around and bought a house in Godric’s Hollow. It was a little pricey, but we bought it nonetheless. Harry and I were getting donations and checks in the mail saying ‘thanks for saving the world’ and we both decided to keep a quarter (because hey, we did save the world) and give the rest to the Ruby/Minerva Orphanage.

I’d started to empty out my trunk again. I hung up all my old posters and photos and newspaper clippings on the walls. I’d painted the night sky on my ceiling and made it so the stars would glitter and sparkle. I’d pulled out all of Harry and my old school books and built us a library room – he made a sign and called it ‘The Hermione Haven’ and Ron laughed for a whole hour, and Hermione didn’t stop hitting us.

I’d started to cook, and Mrs. Weasley would come over and teach me because we all knew I was hopeless. And I ended up making a really great stew once and Ron and Hermione came over to share it. And I visited Lupin’s house every other day to see Lucy and Teddy and Tonks and Lupin and he always gave me the biggest hug and was like ‘Willow, we owe our lives to you’ and I was like ‘no you don’t, asshole, you saved mine first’ and he’d tell me not to swear and I’d tell him to fuck off and it was lovely. And he still loved me like he always had.

And a month after we moved in, Sirius came knocking on the door and told us that Grimmauld Place was just a grim old place and he couldn’t live there alone anymore and asked us to join him. And Harry looked at me, and saw my frown and told Sirius that he could move in with us, instead. And he did. And Sirius was happy because he’d hated that place anyway. And he was a better cook than I was, even with Mrs. Weasley’s help. And he made us food and let us sleep in. And hugged Harry so tightly sometimes I thought he was never going to let him go.

And it took me six months to go through all the things in my trunk and I was still finishing up the house when Harry decided he wanted to start work as an Auror. And George was coming over every second day after work and helping me to arrange the furniture and he didn’t understand why I wouldn’t use magic to do it and I couldn’t tell him why because I didn’t know.

When the house was all done I started fixing up outside. And Sirius helped and we planted herbs and vegetables and flowers and fruit trees. And Hermione stopped by in the Easter holidays – she had gone back to do her NEWTs at Hogwarts – and she smiled so widely when I gave her a tour of the house. She told me how everything in mine and Harry’s home was trinkets other people had bought us. Everything were gifts and presents and hand-me-downs.

“I know, Hermione,” I smiled at her. “I am who I am because of who you are.” And she was confused, but she had never been a blob of nothingness.

And Professor Dumbledore paid me a visit and asked if I had any plans for my future, and I said ‘No, sir. I have no plans, no goals, no ambitions or fate.’ And he said ‘how do you feel about that?’ and I was like ‘I am the happiest I have been in my entire life.’

I hope you're enjoying this. I mean, if you're not, that's cool too. I can't tell you how to live your life. Wow.

So my next promo will be for pottergirl7996

She's got a very intriguing Harry Potter fanfic called 'The Girl Who Lived Through Hogwarts'

She only joined in May, and her book might only have four chapters, but she updates reguarly (unlike I ever did) and her story is so well written for someone who is THIRTEEN! I get the feel with this book that it'll be long and great and take you on as many twists and turns as humanly possible :)  Please check it out!
