Authors note: Just as Oda-San left it, Ace doesn't know Sabo was still alive and just had amnesia. He doesn't know if Luffy got out of Marinefort alive or anything else that happened after he died for that matter.

🔥Ace's POV🔥
----------------------------

Can't feel my body...

Fire...

It's everywhere...

So hot I-I can't breath it ...hurts...

hurts?

Wait no...no? What? Wait...where am I? I...

"I'm a fire logia."

Wait what!? Was that me? But what...what's a fire logia?

UGH! Damn it! What's wrong with my head?!

"Luffyyy!!"

What...was...that?

"Let him GO!!!"

Suddenly, I felt a wave of power rush through me and I remembered everything.

Gold Roger, Sabo, Luffy, Dadan, Garp, Makino, Shanks, Thatch, Marco, Oyaji, Teach, Marinefort.

Marinefort...Akainu.

I died...Luffy...my brothers....I'm so sorry little brother I-I couldn't keep my promise...I...I-

"How long more until your gonna notice me?"

"What who-"
It was then that I saw a -way too familiar for my liking- man staring at me.

"Finally!" He cut me off.

"I was beginning to think you were never gonna see me!"

"You..." I snared with a low cold tone. Before I could say anymore he put up his hands in a protective and nonthreatening gesture.

"Now now," He started. "I don't have much time so hear me out."

"I have not-"

"I'm not telling you to say anything. But please, just hear me out. Let me give you my last gift, whether you like it or not."

Rage. That was one thing I felt. Pure anger and resentment along with a whole bunch of other feelings washed over me and burned hotter than these very flames all around me. But I could see the sadness and almost pleading feeling in the mans eyes.
The eyes of The Pirate King, in the eyes of Gol D. Roger.

So, I closed my own eyes and gave a nod. A gesture for him to continue, and so he did.

Smiling, he said. "I give you a second chance in life. A chance that was given to me by the gods. A chance I never used."

As much as I wanted, I made no interruptions for the man to speak. And so he continued on about gods, changed lives because of him along with storms and time travel.

In the end I managed to sum up:

1) He died and was given a second chance -that he never used- in life that just so happens to include some kind of 'gift' like double lifespans, regeneration, and so on. So he'd be a little harder to kill.
