Writer's pov:
Chanel left the university right after she saw Ethan's text,she was disappointed that he didn't keep his promise and left her hanging like that, he's never done that before.....but she was glad at the same time because it's been so long since the last time she got to spend time alone, she didn't even know herself anymore and you know what they say you

She decided to walk to McDonalds at that cloudy afternoon, the weather was just perfect for her fresh air cloudy sky, full of black clouds, her eyes looked so much like the sky, both looked so ready to cry at any second to get rid of all their problems.
She left the restaurant after taking her order.
Chanel's pov:
"you look good, Miss Grey i'm not going to lie you impressed me,you should be proud of yourself!"
a familiar voice came from behind,I turned to face the last person i wanted to see right now, my awful stepfather.
"What's a creep like you doing here?"
I snapped rolling my eyes to the heavens.
I obviously can't stand this man right there, me and James which is my mother's beloved husband had so many problems after they got married.
I never liked him because he sounded so fake and guess what i was right!
He abused me for almost a year before i got the chance to move from "their" house which keep in mind once was mine too!
But majority of problems lead to the divorce between my mom and dad!
And my mom never did anything to stop him from hurting me!
I put my hand on the my hip, the place he left the biggest scar at, when all the memories I tried to erase came back at the same time but i tried to stay confident, that's how i always been tuff no matter what!
"Sorry, I don't wanna cross paths with an asshole like you"
I spit the words to his face, trying to hide how nervous i was at the time.....
He took a few steps towards me, I was gonna leave but i felt his hand grabbing my wrist so hard, i tried not to flinch but it was painful
" i see you are attempting to leave so quickly, did you not miss me as much as i did darling?"
He whispered in my ear, i felt him breath in my neck i was so scared at the time!
" you forgot something ma'am " i heard the McDonalds worker say " is everything okay?" She looked at us in confusion, not knowing what was going on
" yeah....everything is alright, we were having a chit chat thing, you know father and daughter things"
I frowned my eyes at him, you "wish asshole" I wanted to scream but i just walked away instead leaving him smirking behind me, the thought of him being around disgusted me.
She headed home to rest and take a long warm shower to brush off all the thoughts that have been chasing her lately.
Her life is more complicated than she thought it was!
Standing naked in front of the mirror eyeing her that red/pink line the starts it's way in her body from the hip to her brest bone, she still can't look at it even after all this time thinking that no one is going to be able to look at her body.....her thinking was interrupted by the apartment's bell ringing, she rushed out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around her body
" who is it?"
" Elena,who else would it be you fool"
Ugh....this girl is a life saver i need her now more than ever.
Elena's pov:
I looked everywhere for her, but she wasn't there at the university i knew she had left, she wasn't herself earlier i knew something was wrong with her, so i took it upon myself to go to her apartment and check on her and maybe try to get her to speak...!
I parked in front of the building and walked to her apartment knocked on the door, her soft voice came from access the door
- Who is it?
- Elena, who else would it be " i rolled my eyes"
- Come in " said Chanel after opening the door"
- Ohhh looking like a hot cooked meal am i interrupting anything? " i said playfully trying to annoy her"
- oh shut up you hoe!
We both busted in laughter at our silly goofy conversations!
After having fun,doing make up and awful singing we decided to watch a movie and have a hot drink, it's almost Christmas and it's freezing out side!
We just enjoy he company of eachother so much, I didn't want to ruin the happy comfy moments but i knew i had to ask her that question so i took a deep breath and went for it!
- listen channel....um...i....
- You are....? " she said in confusion"
- Well, I noticed that you are not doing quite well and have been avoiding everyone lately and all, you know the thing is I'm concerned!
- Ugh...i was on my way home today when i saw James
- YOU SAW WHO!? AND YOU DID'T SAY A WORD OH GREY YOU'RE SO DEAD! " Elena was frustrated"
That's when Chanel's phone vibrated a text message as she slid it out of her pocket, her face turned pale.
