3 YEARS AGO
"Haha! Liara, stop!" (Y/n) said, happily as her friend tried to keep tickling her. "Your no fun." Liara said, pouting. "I am lots of fun, thank you very much." (Y/n) said in a joking manner. "Hey Liara?" (Y/n) asks. "Yes?" Liara says. "If something happened, we'd never drift apart, right?" (Y/n) asks, worriedly. "No, of course not." Liara replies.
1 YEAR LATER
"Liara? Are you okay?" (Y/n) asks. Shepard had recently died, and the crew was taking it in their own way. "I do not wish to talk, (Y/n)." Liara says quietly. "Oh, okay then. Maybe we'll talk later." (Y/n) replies, walking out of Liara's room. Later never came, though.
2 YEARS LATER
(Y/n) was resting on her couch in her apartment. It had been two years since she had seen, of spoken to Liara. She heard that Shepard was alive, but she'd need to see this to confirm her suspicions. A knock resonated through her apartment. (Y/n) got up and headed to the door, opening it. She saw Shepard, Garrus and a Drell she didn't know. She was silent for a moment, then threw her arms around Shepard, no words being spoken. Garrus broke the tension. "Uh, (Y/n), this is Thane. Thane, this is (Y/n)." Garrus says awkwardly. "It is nice to meet you, (Y/n)." Thane says calmly. (Y/n) let go of Shepard and shook Thane's hand. "It's nice to meet you too, Thane." (Y/n) smiles shyly."Same for you too, commander. What do you need?" The 5'3 woman asks."Well, I need your help to defeat the collectors. You in?" Shepard asks. "Heck yeah." (Y/n) replies.
