"We find love, we get up..."
My cellphone played aloud as I rolled out of my queen sized bed. I didn't know what I had to do today but, oddly enough, I set an alarm for it. My feet hit the cold, cream colored tile that covered my floor. The shocking cold made me wake up as a tingle went down my spine. It was dead smack in the middle of the winter and my parents didn't even bother to turn the heat on. Well, I mean, they were never really around enough to see how cold this house could really get. And, before you ask me why the hell I don't turn the heat on by myself, it's because, they have code on it that only they know. I've tried everything, from my birthday to the name that dad has been given. Oh well,
I looked at my digital clock and realized that I was running late. I remembered what I had to get up early for. BAND PRACTICE.
"Shit.." I mumbled under my breath as I rushed and hopped in the cold shower, I didn't even wait for the water to heat up before I began to wash my small, light skin body. Hell yes it was cold but I refuse to be late, especially for this practice. I ran some cold water on my locs to help wake me up even more so I can start to write this sheet music for the band , it worked. After quickly washing my body, I decided that I would put on a black shirt with leggings. With that being said, I got dressed, grabbed my sheet music and did the dash all the way to the door of my silver Audi that sat in the middle of my driveway.
It didn't really take me that long to get to my destination. Just when I pulled into my parking space, I realized that I hadn't had breakfa---
" HEY GIRL!!!" I heard one of my female friends call out to me, cutting my thoughts off as she ran up to my car, her beautiful smile just making the butterflies in my stomach come alive at this early hour. She was my woman crush Wednesday, my girl crush, all of that. Her beautiful London accent rang through my ears as I opened the car door to get out. Her small stature compared to mine made everything on her, look so beautiful. She threw her arms around my shoulders. She touched the back of my head that was shaved and then kissed my cheek. Her soft lips mad me shiver in my tommy boxers.
"what are we doing today for practice" she asked me.
I shrugged, not even knowing what we were going to do. My heart raced as I looked at her beautiful face. I was screwed, practice was in 5 and my boss was coming today. What were we going to do. Then I got an idea, I should just do a mashup from another band. Yeah, that's it. My job was saved.

"Yo get ready, we're going to the club tonight" my friend yelled out.
I looked up at him as i retwisted my hair. He laughed at me and offered to help me. I declined the offer, although he was my best friend, he was an ass.
"dude, when are you getting dressed?" he asked. I looked over at him as I strolled to the closet with my hair half way twisted and looked over the countless amount of designer jeans and shirts. I pulled out a nice regular burberry button down and some solid blue jeans.
" something simple my nigga" I said with all of the suave in the world.
Then I felt the mood change in the room. I looked over at my friend as he was staring blankly in the mirror. I knew what was happening but, he was surprised about this moment.
"Yo what the hell is going on!!" He yelled out as the letter "J" appeared on his arm. HE was only about 17 and I was really confused as to why this had happened. He hadn't done anything to discover anything so, why was it starting. Then I realized that he was very into fashion. Maybe this was the start to the process. But I had one question...
When would I start?
