"Do we have to do that today? We could just wait until next Thurs-,"
"The boss will have our tails, you know that." Yoongi muses, setting his glass down on the coffee table before pulling his gun out of his waistband. "Sorry, Kook."
"I'm really no good at stealing! That's more of Namjoon hyung's thing! Do I really have to participate? Can I just sit this one out?"
"We're a team, Jungkook-ah." The leader points out. "Plus, you've already put one of your missions to the side just because you're no good at killing people." The last part mocks the younger, and even though Namjoon said it light-heartedly... it didn't make Jungkook feel the best.
His hyungs have been doing this for years longer than he has, he's behind and refuses to ask for help. They've always had his back, especially when his first mission had been to kill someone. Jungkook's specialities entail the ability to work with others and steal things, murdering always goes to the bottom of his to-do list simply because he hates it.
"They look at me and they beg." He croaks. "I have nightmares sometimes.. you know? I thought that it would get easier with each time I do it, that it would be some form of habit but.." his eyebrows furrow, sadness etched into his features when his bottom lip begins to wobble.
Jungkook had just turned seventeen when he got into this "business." It's only at night when his hyungs are asleep that he wishes he didn't sign that contract four years ago.
"Ah, Kook it does get better though. You haven't even hit the double digits yet with your kills." Yoongi assures.
"I used to wake up screaming and hyung wouldn't sleep for days. It's not natural to take someone's life, but after awhile it does get...easy."
"You hide behind a computer screen most of the time." Jungkook huffs, folding his arms across his chest as he turns towards his friends.
"That's because during training Namjoon took a bullet to the abdomen. He was out for months to recover, he's stubborn - do you really think he spent all that time doing nothing?" the eldest recalls. "No, instead he busted his-,"
"That's enough," Namjoon warns. "Kook, go get some sleep."
"We leave in three hours though, I might as well stay awake."
"Bed, now." he orders, watching as the youngest warily begins walking towards his room. "He's still a kid, Yoons." he sighs once he hears the bedroom door click shut. "We still have to go easy on him."
"He still needs to grow a pair," Yoongi mumbles, standing up from his seat. "Do you want anything from the fridge?"
"Uh, just a slice of last night's pizza and then I think I'm gonna catch a few hours of shut-eye."
"Okay," Yoongi mumbles, pulling the pizza box out of the refrigerator and bringing it into the living room where he takes a spot next to his best friend on the couch. "Let's go over this plan one more time."
"Right," Namjoon picks up a slice of pizza. "So, we have Jungkook go in first...."

"So, you're single?" Jungkook smiles, leaning over the receptionists desk. The girl behind the desk is probably in her late thirties, and she wears attire much like Jungkook does. He's in a navy suit, clearly dressed for the job as he's meant to be a distraction, an important one at that. Under the receptionist's desk is a little red button that signals the police and fire department once pressed. If it isn't obvious, the boy needs her not to press that button.
