Fire

This is lowkey an excuse to put in the Idol dance practice and a really good cover of Ddu-du Ddu-du. This story is also kinda set in the past for right now, so before Answer came out. This chapter is the day it came out tho.

The twelve of you had gathered around a camp fire that Jin had prepared for you, singing along to random songs that come up on Chaeyoung's Spotify playlist. Idol came on and the boys all jumped up and got into position.

"WOOOHOOO!!" The five girls cheered as the song died out and the boys came back over to the fire. Taehyung day down by you this time, Jungkook in the other side of you. You leaned your head on his shoulder as a slower song came on. He grabbed onto your hand and intertwined your fingers together, enjoying the warm, glowing light of the fire.

All of a sudden, Ddu-du Ddu-du came on, you five girls and Tae ran over into position.

"V hyung?! Since when do you know the choreography to that song?" Jungkook exclaimed as he watched him perform the song beautifully.

"You think I don't learn my girlfriend's choreography?" Taehyung asked in a 'duh-of-course-I-do' kind of way.

"Wait! So it is official!?" Lisa yelled as she heard Taehyung's statement. She started fangirling and chanting your ship name.

"Tae/n. Tae/n. Tae/n." And so on.

"I think we should all go back to our hotel rooms and pack our stuff for tomorrow since we are unfortunately leaving this magical place." Jin stated, everyone else nodding in agreement.

You look up at Tae who has a sparkle in his eye. He looks back down at his shoulder where your head was once again rested, smiling down at you. "I'll see you in the morning?" He asks you in his deep voice.

"Of course you will," You reply, standing up from a blanket to hug him. He hugs you tight, squeezing the air out of you. "I-I c-can't br-re-ath." You sweet out. He chuckles and lets go of you, smiling widely.

The others are off to the side chanting quietly, "kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss kiss." You roll your eyes at them as you go up onto your tippy toes and kiss him on the cheek, causing him to blush madly.

"You know that's not what we meant!" Jennie yelled, making everyone laugh.

"I have to tell you something, Y/n." Taehyung says as the two of you are about to go your separate ways after getting off of the plane the next morning.

"You can tell me anything. I'm always going to be here to listen." You say, smiling brightly.

"It's not a very good thing," Tae replies, his voice going low. Your smile drops to a frown as you look at him with a confused face. "The guys and I are going on tour starting tomorrow. We only released the mv for Idol today."

"Why is that a bad thing? We are going on tour too. But we are only going to Seoul. I'm assuming you'll be going all over Korea and Japan." You say, the cheeriness in your voice returning.

"I don't think you understand. It's a world tour." Taehyung says, looking away from your sad face.

"How long will you be gone?" You ask, tears slowly welling up in your eyes.
