How We Happened

Pov: Lucy

My voice hitched and I could tell everyone heard it. I sit there staring at my hands as tears began to fall.

"I know I'm rich and all but that was kinda harsh Natsu." I say quietly. I quickly dry my eyes and stand up. "excuse me" I squeak.

"Are you alright Lu-chan?" Levy asks.

I slighly nod then take off running. "Lucy!" I hear someone yell behind me.

Maybe its Natsu.?

I start slowing down.

No no no. Its not Natsu. He's too wrapped up in Lisanna.

I start running again and hide in a corner where no one can see me. I lean against the wall and slide down.

Ever since she came here its like he doesn't care about me anymore. we were so close. why did she have to show up?

I sit there with my head in my hands. I thought I was alone until I heard a "hey" from behind.

I slowly look up and see a face I would have never expected. "Gray.?" I ask thru sniffles.

He kneels down next to me and asks "Are you alright?"

I sigh and laugh sarcastically and say. "Peachy. I'm not crying or anything."

He laughs lightly. "I can tell." he says. "But seriously. what's going on?"

I sigh again and look down. "Its nothing." I say sadly.

"It doesn't look like nothing." he says while putting a hand on my knee.

I sniffle and look at him. "Its.. Natsu." I say in a slight sigh. "I really like him but ever since Lisanna got here its been "sorry hanging with Lisanna" or "oh there's Lisanna, gotta go" he never has any time for me anymore. Its like he's completly forgotten about me." I start to cry again.

God im so lame. Suck it up Lucy. You need to stop crying over him. Although.. nope. Not gunna say it.

"Look." Gray says. "Natsu likes you. I can tell by the way he looked at you. He's been acting strange ever since Lisanna got here. So I got an idea on how to get Flamebrain back."

I stare at him with curiousity and happiness shining in my eyes.

I wonder what he's thinking?

But what he said next completly suprised me.
