"Manuel she's gone" Lara's mother looked at me. I could see the sympathy in her eyes. I shook my head,"Where?" She sighed and looked to the ground. Shaking her head," Malibu. You broke her heart, I have never seen her so sad. Don't go there unless you really want her." I nodded. I wanted her more than anything, I wanted things to go back to what they were a couple of weeks ago. I had to fix this, regardless of the lengths I would have to go to.

I had cried myself to sleep. I woke up with all the tissues strewn in my bed. Getting up was difficult, I hadn't left the bed in two days. The light hurt my eyes as I opened the curtains. Outside I observed the stunning view that was the Malibu Beach. The sky was a super blue colour which made the white crests of the waves stand out. Seagulls where flying low over the sea, children were jumping into the waves and the suns rays reflected off the water. I turned to see the mess that was my room. It stank. I had to get out of here. Picking up my bikini and a sundress I went into the bathroom. God I was a mess.

Standing at the airport my heart was beating so fast. What would she say? Would she reject me? Give me a second chance? I was second doubting this. However every time I saw a picture of her or thought of her my gut was cheering me on. I would be in Malibu within hours. My plan was to just turn up and hope for the best. I hate when people look at me or talk about me, so I wanted this over as fast as possible.

After hours on the beach I returned to the hotel. My gut instinct was telling me that this rumour needed to be stopped. My brain could no longer take it. I had to face the media.
