The frustrated sigh I released did not help to relieve me of my growing anger. I refrained from throwing my maths textbook out the window. I'm pretty sure mum wouldn't like it all too much if I told her she needed to replace the glass pane in my room.

I shut my eyes and let out an angry breath. My exam was in two days and I've barely covered half the topic. Whoever said college was cool and fun and all that was dead wrong. I ran a hand through my curly blonde hair and left it in, toying with a couple strands as I tried to focus on the equation beforehand.

"Elliot!" I heard my mum's muffled calls from downstairs and almost cried at an excuse to take a break. Christmas vacation was almost over and my professor had this crazy philosophy that if he tested us when we came back it'd keep us on our toes. Well fuck you, Professor Briner.

"Coming!" I called. I slightly winced, pausing slightly to make sure I hadn't woken anybody up. Harry and Corrine were practically a wall away and I'd rather not have little Madeleine start crying. Add to that,  the fact that Carlisle and Nick were also still sleeping, I'd rather not take my chances and wake the beasts. I moved downstairs where I noticed my mother staring at something beyond my line of vision outside the door, an excited glint in her eyes. I knew it wasn't Maculauy and Arthur on the other side due to the serene look on her face. I gave her a questioning look as she aggressively waved me over.

"What? Mum who's at the..." My throat dried up at an alarming rate and I froze to the spot immediately. I couldn't believe my own eyes, and I trusted those with my life to show me the right images.

But this...this could not be truly here before my eyes. I tried to form words to check if the person in front of me was a living, breathing reality.

"Elliot?" I finally managed to spit out once my vocal cords began to work again. My eyes stayed glued to his, taking in his form. His dark eyes framed with those long lashes sparkled in amusement, most likely from my reaction. His usual raven hair was shorter than it was when I last saw him six months ago. It barely brushed his forehead now, although it still stood out at abnormal angles looking as if he'd been running his fingers through it relentlessly trying to achieve the hot 'fresh out of bed look.' Of course, it looked good as hell on him.

"Hey munchkin."

I couldn't stop the grin that broke out onto my face as I launched at him. Unfortunately, I didn't take into account the thin layer of ice that covered the steps and most of the ground. Just as my arms wrapped around his neck we fell back. He let out a short lived yelp as we flew off the porch and hit the grass. I frowned, trying to sit up and see if he was okay but he wrapped his arms firmly around my waist. I felt him shake with laughter through his coat. "This is a lot similiar to how we met you know? Me on the ground and your arms around my neck."

I grinned at him, "Oh yes, good times. We oughta try that again sometime. Spark the memory and all that good stuff." I replied, pushing myself off of him and helping him to his feet.

He suddenly gave me a smirk and I stopped in my tracks as he stood properly. Now I had to glance up at him due to the close proximity. He'd gotten way too tall for my liking.

"What?" I asked suspiciously, narrowing my eyes as I noticed his mischievous grin forming slowly on his features. He only shrugged in response, "Nothing, I just don't think I've ever told you I love your hair." He said, and as he reached up to touch the top of it I felt a massive substance deposit itself on top of my mane. Did I mention it was cold? Like, icy cold. I shrieked as the snow began to melt on my head, dripping down my face and the back of my neck into my shirt.

"Fintry!" I hissed, letting out an almost animalistic growl. It's amazing how easily he can make me go from wanting to hug and kiss him to wanting to bash his head into the ice. Funny, isn't it?
