Only You..... (completed)

Part 26

Okay in previous part, i had told that laksh and sanskar's teams were leading among the four teams. That too sanskar's was leading laksh's just by one point. And yesterday laksh's team won in basketball match. Now their scores were a tie. Rest two teams were in bottom with least scores. Only one event, duet dance was left, which will decide the final result. So if sanlak wants the winning cup, then either of them must win the competition.

So practice was going very hard, ragini wanted to win somehow, not because of the challenge, but because of her efforts she had put in it. Nandini wanted to win by hook and crook, to impress laksh. But laksh and sanskar were disinterested in this.

In the evening around 4.30 pm,
Laksh and nandini were practicing their steps on the dance floor, after some time both got tired. Laksh sat there itself, drinking water, nandini came near him.

Laksh looked at her, "i think for today it's enough, we practised a lot. You too seem to be tired. "

Nandini nodded in disappointment, she wanted to spend some time with him. She told laksh hesitatingly, "shall we go out for a dinner tonight, I too will feel relaxed, I too got bored of books, and looking at the same boring walls of hostel"

Laksh looked at her surprisingly, "is this you asking? I'm not dreaming right, I didn't know there is resting time for your books too?!! Hmmm not bad, is this any side effect of being with us?"

Nandini smiled, "may be"
In her mind, "it's only because of you, you changed me, you came as a light in my life. I have always been teased by others as nerd, coward, shy... But you never saw me in that way, you respected me every time. Even if you tease me, I never felt bad, because you never hurted me, like how others used to."

Laksh snapped his fingers in front of her, "where are you lost?"

Nandini came out of her trance, and she smiled at him again.

Nandini asked again with hesitation, "shall we...??!!! "

Laksh put his hands in his pocket, "nandini, I would be glad to come, but today ragini has invited me for dinner. So I'm sorry"

Nandini felt disappointed, in mind, "this ragini always has one or the other thing everyday, she keeps engaging laksh everytime, I must do something"

She smiled fakely, "it's okay, have fun"

Laksh "next time for sure, we all will go together".

Nandini in mind, "who wants everyone to join, I was planning for our first date, and it looks like you are planning for a family trip"

Laksh took his bag and lightly tapped on her cheeks, "i must leave to my class, we have extra class today, since our portions aren't completed, bye"

Nandini was in cloud nine, she touched her cheeks where she felt his hand. She was smiling crazily, dancing within herself. She forgot her surroundings.

After sometime nandini walked inside the library.

Ragini was in the library. Ragini was given an assignment, so she was supposed to submit it by next day. She had completely forgotten her assignment matter due to her dance practice and she was remembered by one of her friend, just half an hour ago. She was worried about it and started noting down the points.

Time was passing like seconds. In the midst of all these, she even forgot that she had invited laksh for dinner, she didn't even check the time, she forgot that laksh might be waiting for her outside near parking. Laksh had informed her that he will be having extra class till 6.30 pm. So she had told she will wait for him, till then she will be in library as she had to complete the assignment too.
