Chapter 29

"Chaeyoung.."

Chaeyoung kept hugging Mina until she heard her say her name. Chaeyoung pulled away and looked at her. She grabbed her arms.

"Are you ok? Did they hurt you? Where?" Chaeyoung quickly asked her.

"I-I am fine Chaeyoung."

The two stayed quiet for a few seconds just looking into each other's eyes..

Chaeyoung let go of her arms realizing the awkward situation.

Mina brought her arms behind her back. She looked at Chaeng then slowly got up.

Mina was about to leave this awkward air until Chaeyoung quickly grabbed her wrist.

Mina looked back at her. And saw Chaeyoung looking up. Before Mina could look up she was pulled by Chaeyoung into a tight hug.

With Chaeyoung moving swiftly Mina could only close her eyes and wait till she can open them again.

Mina's POV

I slowly opened my eyes to see a pile of what looked to be a piece of the ceiling on the floor where I was standing.

'Did Chaeyoung save me?' I thought as she stared at the pile.

I than looked around me and saw some people staring at me.. or us.

I looked back and Chaeyoung had a worried face on her. She was still hugging me tight until I grabbed her hand and she snapped out of it.

I looked at her than felt her arms go away. Another awkward silence was upon us. I said thanks without knowing I only mouthed it.

I started to leave again until Chaeyoung grabbed my wrist one more time. I looked back at her and she was looking away.

She than started walking and pulled me along with her. But Chaeyoung didn't harshly pulled me she held my wrist with care as if she didn't want to hurt me.

"Chaeyoung? Yah! What are you do-"

"Mina I.. I want to talk to you."

I was confused. I wondered what was going inside of her head.

She pulled me to an empty classroom.

This is too familiar.. I blushed than thinking of something. I shook my head.

We walked inside the classroom and Chaeyoung closed the door behind us.

"Chaeyoung.. what are you doing?" I asked a little bit with worry.

"Mina don't think I'm going to do anything to you." Chaeyoung said with her back facing me.

I stayed quiet and let the girl talked. "Mina.."

An awkward 5 seconds passed. It was the longest 5 seconds I've ever experienced.

"Mina I know you hate me for everything you think I've done or I have done to you or others. I know that you will never think the same way for me..."

After hearing Chaeyoung say those 2 sentences I thought...

does chaeyoung actually like me...

"C-Chaeyoung," I stuttered. Crap. "Wha-"

"Mina I've held this in for the whole year last year ever since I left you like how I did. After realizing all the bullshit I've done to you. I held this pain in not wanting to let you know knowing I will get hurt more because I know what you would say."

My heart was beating fast and faster by the minute. Chaeyoung... is going to..
