you smile looking at your text message it was just now 12:00am and it was your birthday so of course your boyfriend Chris had to be the first to wish you happy birthday "Happy Birthday beauty I will talk to you later about our day I love you sweet dreams xoxo <3" you lay back down in bed letting your mind wander on what he was planning for your day.

you wake to your favorite song 'good time girl' by of course your boyfriends band Hollywood Ending. "hello?" you mumble into the phone then you hear your boyfriends beautiful voice right through your ears "Hi Beauty" he says making you smile "Hi Brit" you hear him chuckle on the other side of the phone "So get ready because I will be at your house in about an hour to pick you up, I'm sorry I'm being selfish but your hanging out with me today" "okay then im going to get ready" "Alright beauty see you in a hour!" you hear the click of the phone then drag yourself out of bed to go get ready, you take a shower, do your hair and brush your teeth then you put on your cutest outfit when you had a knock on the door.

you answer it to see Chris holding a dozen red roses. "Chris oh my gosh!" you take the flowers then kiss him softly "Happy Birthday babe" he mumbles kissing you again then letting you take the flowers in water, once you do that you meet him back on the couch. "Damn you look hot today" he slaps your butt making you laugh "yeah well we better leave okay?" "yea okay even though I would rather stay here but yeah let's go"

the first place he stops was your old preschool, the place where you first met him. then he drives where your guys first date was, then your first kiss and so on up until he drives to a lake that you don't think you had ever been too. "Chris what is this place?" you ask but he doesn't say anything he just gets out of the car and walks you down beside the lake.

"so we have been dating for about three years now and I have known you since forever and I kinda have fallen completely and totally in love with you."  he says then pulls out a heart necklace "I've decided to give you my heart so its kind of like a promise necklace" he puts it on you then kisses you passionately. "I love you Chris" you say and he smiles "I love you too"
