Khushi was done with morning pooja and was going towards her room with Arnav's tea when she remembered the kiss of last night... it was nothing unusual as he had kissed her before also.. but yesterday it felt different to her... it gave some unknown feelings inside her which were hidden since long.. slowly the windows of her closed heart were opening with an intake of fresh air.. an air in which she can smell happiness.. an air in which she can feel belonging.. like she means much more to someone and that the person loves her immensely.. it was his love that had forced her to give life a second chance and now she is liking the feel of it... she is liking being loved by someone.. though still she needs to open up.. but slowly life is seeming beautiful to her.

She slowly kept the tea tray on the table still lost in her thoughts when she felt two hands wrapping around her waist...

Thinking about me sweetheart?

Huuhh... she jerked back and he held her more tight not letting her go.

No.. No... I was.. just.. she again started stammering...

Khushi when will you stop becoming nervous around me as if I am going to eat you... he asked in an amused tone.

Nahi... woh.. I brought tea for you...

Hmmm... ok lets have tea... they took their seat and she relaxed a bit...

Ok khushi about what I discussed with you... when you would like to join office... you can take your time its just that I don't want you to feel bored at home.

Woh I was thinking I can join from Monday if its ok with you...

Iam perfectly fine dear... as far as you are ready... anyways NK and Aakash have done all the arrangements.. you just have to join.. he said while sipping his tea... mmm... you made my day.. I can do anything for this tea khushi.. its really refreshing.

She smiled being thankful.

Woh actually Maa was mentioning that her friend's daughter is coming to stay here for few days.. so I thought once she comes then I will join.. she may require my help in settling... khushi said.

Oh ya Megha is coming... he said in an excited tone.. I have not met her since one year.. she is going to skin me alive for not being in touch.

Who is she actually? Khushi asked being curious.

She is Sakshi aunty's daughter... Maa and Sakshi aunty were classmates and best friends... Megha used to be in Delhi only for many years... we studied together.. then she shifted with her parents abroad and continued her higher studies there.. we were best buddies.. but since I became busy with my work I have not been in touch with her since long.

Khushi was keenly listening to what Arnav was sharing about his friend and was very eager to meet his friend who is so close to him.

Helloo... Khushi... he waved in front of her... where are you lost.. he asked

Me.. no.. nothing I was just thinking I would like to meet your friend soon...

Ohh.. you will like her.. don't mind she is a bit crazy... and can talk like a marathon.. he smiled remembering his friend.
