"MOMMY MAKE IT STOP" I wake up screaming, again.
"Kailyn?" I hear my dad outside my door.
I look at the clock and groan. Im still tired but I'm scared to go back to sleep' so i stand and open my door.
"Yes?" I say rolling my eyes.
"Making sure you're okay."
"Fine"
I slam my door and turn and walk back to my bed. I lay down scared to close my eyes, sighing. I know i should be alot more grateful to my dad considering he's the only one thats always been there for me. But right now, i dont like him very much.
I hear another knock at my door.
*eye roll* "What?"
"Can i come in?"
'The one person i dont want anything to do with right now, cool.'
"Kailyn, let me in"
"No I'm tired"
I hear her sigh and walk away. I close my eyes and fall back asleep.
**Dreaming**
"Mommy, I'm not lying!" I say crying
"Yes you are. I dont trust you" She looks at me with such hatred in her eyes. The look of regret that no five year old kid should ever have to see from their parents.
"MOMMY!" I scream "Im not lying, he touches me when you go to work. Thats why i dont want you to leave."
"Shut up! I wish I never had you" She pushes me away as i cling to her hip.
I run to my sisters room crying and when she asks what happened I break down and tell her everything.
"Kai, why didnt you ever tell me" She starts to cry. "I need you to promise me something"
I look up at her and cry harder. "Anything sissy" i promise.
"Sissy code that you will tell me if he ever touches you again. EVER."
"Whats that?" I smile because she's the only one thats there for me when i need someone, just like she is now.
"The only thing better than a promise" She smiles "Its just for us."
"Sissy Code" I say hugging her
I wake up to the light in my eyes. I roll overr and open my iphone. I dont have any text so i roll back over to go to sleep and hear a knock on my door.
"School time, lets go." My dad says.
I groan and stand up. I grab my towel and run to the bathroom, if I've learned anything from being here it's how to be first in the shower.
"Come on i need to shower Kailyn. What are you doing?" Jazmyne says from outside the bathroom door.
I step out the shower. "Trying to get ten minutes of peace. Is that to much to ask for?"
"Yeah well your ten minutes of peace is gonna use up all the hot water in California."
I open the door and stare at her. "Oops? Sorry I wanna be clean" I push her out of my way and walk to my room to do my make up and get dressed. Once I'm ready i walk out to the end of the bus and get on.
