Gavin's story

"detective reed?" rk900 said to gavin as he was sitting at his desk. "i think i found out your reason." gavin looked up at 900 confused. "found out the reason to what?" he asked him. "my coffee addiction?" gavin laughed but 900 had no response. they were both silent until 900 said "your reason on why you hate androids." gavin was shocked. he never told anyone in his life on why he didn't enjoy these robotic beings. "how.. how did you-" but before he could speak, 900 quickly cut him off and started to speak.

"it all started in 2009. your mother became depressed and your father was trying his best to cheer her up. he didn't know what to do. he was searching for why the love of his life was upset. it then hit him. your father new she never wanted a child from the start until she had you. your mother cared for you and watched over you. he thought that she couldn't handle looking after you. so then your father started blaming you for her mental illness. so he then verbally and physically abused you. he hit you so hard that he caused multiple scars on your face. but he didn't care. he wanted you out of his and your mother's lives so that they could be happier. you were confused and afraid. you thought they loved you. you thought that they would do anything to keep you safe. they were once positive but then they turned their back on you. by 2011 you became angry. trying to defend yourself from your father. he said that you couldn't do anything successful in your life. you wanted to prove him wrong. so in 2019, you studied being a police detective. this was the thing to debunk your father's lies. you moved to detroit as lansing was where you could leave your negative father so that you could have a better life and a better reputation. fortunately you got the job. you were proud of yourself. you thought that if your father saw you know he would have regretted what he said and see you as his son again. but then, november 5th 2038. a new rk800 android showed up. it was said that he would become an android officer. you were shocked. you thought that it would replace your job. so you threatened it using some of the language your father raced you with. that's why you hate androids. you are scared that they would take the only thing that mattered most to you."

gavin looked down with tears in his eyes. "so you did do your research, tin can." he said quietly."i just wanted to be a good son. but then i became a total asshole." 900 looked at him knowing that he was upset. "would you like me to bring you another coffee, detective?" he asked sympathetically. "yeah. yeah that would be great" he responded.
