Marth's P.O.V
Demi and i ran all night, not stopping for anything. 'Marth, we've got to rest, otherwise we'll collapse in exhaustion!' Demo panted out. 'We can't stop, Demo. Just a few more miles, soeur!' i pleaded. She just nodded and we went for one more mile before we both collapsed from exhaustion.
The shift is almost over. I can feel it. I look around to see Demo shifting back. 'See ya later, Soeur.' i told Demo as i felt Joseph take control.
Joe's P.O.V
As the shift ended, i heard Marth say, 'See ya later, Soeur,' to Demo. "Hey, Angelo. How ya feeling?" i asked. "I feel fit as a fiddle!" she replied happily. "Let's roll." i said and we took off running. She is super fast now. I was barely keeping up with her.
We went into town we found. "Oh no. Werewolf/Werecat town. This is a pack's town!" i whispered furiously to Angelo. She started shaking furiously as her usually sweet aura now felt deadly. "Angelo?" i asked out.
"Look." she responded and pointed at a red Ferrari. "That car holds an Alpha, a slut, a beta, and the beta's mate/wife. Everyone else in town is a pack member." Angelo said. "So all we need to do is mask our scents and go in." i said and she nodded.
We masked out scents and walked into town. We got very curious stares. We went into Cattleman's Steakhouse and were seated instantly. People came bye, trying their best to strike up a conversation.
Angelo eventually got fed up with it and growled extremely loud. We finished, payed the bill and left the restaurant. "Let's fly." i said. 'Need a lift?' Demo asked. 'Please.' Marth replied. Angelo shifted into her (supposed) werewolf demon, wings and all. I heard gasps all around as i got on Angelo and took flight.
"I owe you big time, Demo!" i shouted over the wing. 'Yes you do, my friend.' Demo responded. We flew happily at 200MPH in silence.
Wow, 2 updates in one night? I'm amazed at myself. I rarely get in a few updates in a month at least! I'm happy though! Enjoy the book!
