Chapter 13

Percy's POV
Sometimes I really hate my Uncle. Zeus is making me go to a mortal high school. Why me? As I walk towards my English class the captain of the swim team, Jackson Taylor, pushed me against the lockers and said "Fear me mortal, for I am the favored son of Poseidon!" A/N I died as I wrote that. Filthy mortal I could barely contain my smirk. Him a son of Poseidon. Ha! I guess my face must have shown my disbelief because he said "Next time you go near water my father will drown you mortal!" I couldn't help but burst out laughing. "You really think my father would drown me? Even if he tried he couldn't for I am Perseus Jackson God of Loyalty, friendship, time, swordmanship, and tides. Son of Poseidon" A/N *starts listening to the son of poseidon from the musical*🤣 The mortals look terrified of me now. They treated me like a loser when I could have easily killed them with a wave of my hand. Suddenly over the PA system the principal says "Will everyone please report to the auditorium." I flash there to see the gods. I walk up and sit in my throne. As the mortals walk in, Poseidon seems to glare at Jackson. I wonder why. Jackson sits toward the back.  When the auditorium is full the principal says "Will everyone please welcome the 15 Olympian Gods." The principle tries to hand the microphone to Zeus but Zeus ignores it and says "We have just recently finishes a war." Some mortal calls out "Impossible! We would have known!" Zeus tracks the voice to a lid sitting next to Jackson. He glares at him and continues "In the stories there are only 12 Olympian gods. In the second Titan War Perseus Jackson,  son of Poseidon asked if we could give Hades and Hestia their own thrones.  Before the beginning of the most recent war Perseus became a god." "Why?" Yelled Jackson.  Dad glanced at me.  I stood up and said " My girlfriend,  Annabeth Chase,  daughter of Athena,  cheated on me.  I found out on the day I was going to propose and my father found me on the bottom of the ocean and I became the 15 Olympian."
