--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP- Stupid alarm clock!  Gumball looks at his alarm clock and realises he's got 1 hour to wake up when he normally doesn't. He tries to fall back into his slumber but is interrupted by Darwin's high-pitched screams. "Gumball!! School is starting early!!!" Gumball groans, rolls off the bed and lands on four paws like a normal cat. He stands up straight like he normal does and grabs his grey trousers, coupled with a tan sweater, which has brown cuffs and a brown collar. Darwin stands behind the door to give Gumball privacy. Gumball takes off his shirt which is white with red stripes, his black shorts and he changes. He heads downstairs with Darwin where they are greeted with a hug from Anais. "Morning Anais!" Gumball tilts his head slightly and whispers into Nicole's ear. "Why is she so cheerful?" He asks and Nicole replies with "She got another friend. Remember that shark?" Gumball nods. "Well, he came back and they keep in touch." Nicole continues. Gumball sits next to Darwin at the kitchen table and takes a forkful of his eggs, bacon, sausages and beans. (Darwin eats spinach and hash-browns instead of bacon and sausages. He's a fish, so, yeah.) The kids finish their breakfast, hop from their chairs and Gumball and Darwin head for the couch while Anais plays with Daisy The Donkey. Gumball and Darwin play The Tale of Zelmore: The Golden Lake 2. They play awhile until the school bus pulls up and the three kids rush onto the bus. "I can't wait until the new Zelmore! Can you?!" Darwin exclaims to Gumball and he nods rapidly, smiling at his younger brother but then tugs on his sweater. "It's kinda hot, right?" He asks Darwin and he nods,  using his water bottle, wetting his fins with it and rubbing them all over his body. As soon as the bus jolts to a stop, the kids rush off the bus and into their classrooms. Gumball spots a empty seat beside him and he wonders if a new student is coming. "Good Morning Class, We Have A New Student. Penny, Please Stand In Front Of The Class And Tell Us A Bit About You..." Mr Small announces from his desk and takes a slurp of his weird herbal tea. A girl comes from outside and she walks in front. "Um...Hello! I'm Penny, I'm 15 years old and I love cheer leading, singing, art and more! I hope we can be friends!" She giggles and sits beside Gumball. Gumball feels himself blushing and covers his 'tomato' face. So cute....Wait! What are you thinking Gumball?! She probably doesn't like m-  "Did You Get That Gumball Or Are You Just Thinking About Who Your Science Partner Will Be?" Mr Small asks, taking another sip from his mug. "I-I got it Mr Small!" He stutters and looks at Penny. She leans across and smiles. "Do you want to be Science partners, Gummypuss?" Gumball's eyes widen and he rubs the back of his head. "It's Gumball...But, err, you can call me that... And...sure.." Penny laughs. "I know your name, it's just that I heard some random kids  talking about it! It's sorta cute y'know...." She mumbles the last sentence and they both blush. "Could we meet at your house?" Gumball asks. "Mine is sorta...crazy." He laughs. "Sure..! Can't wait..!" The bell rings and the pair head off for gym. 

5 HOURS LATER

Gumball lays on his bed and sighs. I wonder if she likes me too... He suddenly falls asleep.
