"So what were you gonna say?"
" . . . . We think you should live here alone." Sarah was confused as to what they meant. "W-What?" "We think you should live here alone." MawMaw said, but more slowly this time. Pops was scarfing down the scones. "Hey theze er reawy gof!"(he said this w/ a mouthful of scones so it's muffled. But he basically said "Hey these are really good!") "Charles! Don't speak with your mouth full!" MawMaw said. "Margaret! Ya gotta try these! Their amazing!!!" Pops said. (Yes MawMaw's name is Margaret and Pops' name is Charles)
Sarah just sat there, thinking. What did they mean? Are they moving in? Are they moving nearby? Are they gonna check in on her? What if there's a robber? Or a serial killer that wants to hurt her? These are some of the thoughts running through her mind. Luckily, before they can get too dark, her grandparents interrupted them. "Well? Are ya gonna react?" Sarah looked up to see that her grandparents were looking at her expectingly. "Oh. . . Um. . . . What exactly do you mean?" She questioned "oh! Was I too brief? What I meant was since your mother (she says this with a disgusted tone that Sarah notices) left you this house, *mumbles* instead of us, you will live here alone. Me and Charles will check on you every once and a while and pay the bills. That is. . . Until your old enough to get a job." MawMaw explained. "Oh, so their just going to leave me here on my own. And when I'm old enough to get a job, they won't be here anymore. . ." Thought Sarah. "Ok" she quietly said, though it was loud enough for her grandparents to hear.
As soon as Sarah opened her mouth, they stood up. "Well, we best be going. Good bye." "Bye, Sally." Pops took all the scones as MawMaw said "We're taking these as a partial payment for paying your bills. Every time we stop by we expect some treats or sweets as payment." They then left.
After they left, Sarah sat there pondering for a while. "Well then, I better start cleaning some mor-" Ding! "Oh! My second batch is done!" She exclaimed getting up and cautiously taking out the second batch of scones. She left them on the counter to cool off while she sweeps the kitchen and dining room, seeing as she all ready cleaned the tables and chairs.

After Sarah was done sweeping, she checked on her scones. "They seem to be cool enough to eat now!" She then sat down and ate her scones. When she finished, she went to her room and checked to see what time it was. "7:30 pm? Hmm. . . better take a shower now and read a book." She gathered up her PJ's and went to the bathroom to take a shower. When she got out she pulled out a thick(T H I C C) book and read herself to sleep.
