Chapter Seventeen

"What?? Won't they come after us!?!" Taeyong tried to reason with Chan but nothing would stop his decision.

"No. I know who planned all of this. I know for a fact they wouldn't do anything to us." Chan commented, "it's a game. A game of trust."

"That means if you fight, you fail." Changbin added.

Taeyong just nodded, and gathered everyone up. There weren't many in the cabin at this moment, just a small sub unit that Taeyong said were calling Nct Dream.

The teenagers came out from behind Taeyong and greeted everyone else.

"We have to find the others, we can't just leave them in this forest alone!" Jaemin said to everyone, being the first dream to speak up.

"Yeah, let's split up. Chan, your team should go a convince everyone to team up and my team with find the others and anyone willing to help." Taeyong suggested. Chan just nodded and led everyone to another direction.

"Well, how are we going to tell everyone?? We don't even know everyone!" Jisung asked, with a sprinkle of rage in his voice.

Chan stopped, leading everyone to stop. He just looked at Seungmin.  Apologetic of course, but there was nothing he could do.

"Seungmin, we're gonna need your help on this one." Seungmin just nodded, "We need you to make sure we can still only hear each other from a distance."

Seungmin again nodded before chanting a spell. Soon enough, he finished but nothing seemed to happen.

"Someone whisper."

"Hello?" Chan whispered, as quiet as he could. Everyone was able to hear him and from their response, Seungmin knew it worked.

"Okay now we have to split up. Telling everyone would be faster like that." Chan said already leaving the small group of nine.

"Well....I guess."

Everyone walked their separate ways to find anyone else, still being able to communicate with each other.

"What if we never find them??" Chenle asked Taeyong, who was currently the leader of the smaller group.

"We will, it will just take awhile." Taeyong was tired of answering this question. Usually Taeyong could find wherever they were from his powers but something about this forest made it go crazy.

Jisung's power wasn't all that useful here either. It was to originally find people with their items but since the other groups went empty handed, he couldn't find them.

The others had various powers from laser eyes to shrinking.

"Let's try to find a cabin to stay in. Maybe we'll get some luck and not run into anyone." Taeyong sighed looking for some place to rest the small children.

"Yeah.... I can help you...." Mark said. Soon after, a small arrow pointing towards a random directions popped up, leading the team to an abandoned cabin.

At least it seemed abandoned.

"Hello??" Taeyong shouted making sure there wasn't anyone there to hurt them.

After getting no response, they headed inside, only to be knocked out and crashing to the floor.
