"She just knows something I don't yet.."

Beca replayed that memory in her head over and over. The one where Chloe caressed her cheek, said her name, and said that soon the world would put them together. Whether that meant as friends or more, Beca didn't know.

Her hands gripped the steering wheel; her knuckles turning a pale white from the tight grip. It wouldn't stop playing in her head. Just that scene over and over. Plus how she told her younger sister Chloe wasn't weird, she just knew something Beca didn't.

She stopped at the red light which was right down the street from The Bella's House. It was just Chloe there which somehow calmed Beca. The woman knew The Bella's could be hectic and chaotic. So, knowing it was just Chloe seemed to calm her.

The red light turned green and Beca let off the brake; stepping onto the gas lightly. The truck took off down the road; stopping just a few seconds after in front of the house. She put the truck in park before shutting it off completely.

Before getting out; her phone buzzed beside her. Quickly she grabbed it to see it was her sister texting her.

Dylan: Trying to focus on this movie. Your thoughts running wild about moving in isn't helping. And yes, it will just be Chloe and everything will be fine. Shut up.

Beca couldn't help but chuckle at the text. When her thoughts kicked into overdrive, there was no way her sister could ignore it. She had learned ways to tune other thoughts out, but when Beca's thoughts were overwhelming it was hard to tune out.

Beca: Fuck off.

She texted back before locking her phone and swinging the truck door open. Beca got out with a slam of the truck door behind her; slipping her phone into her pocket.

"Hey!" She heard that sweet sounding voice yell out as Beca walked onto the sidewalk.

"Hey" Beca gave a soft smile.

"Guess I was right," Chloe smirked. "The world would have us together one day"

"You remember that?" Beca asked.

"Of course. I remember everything" Chloe smiled.

"How did you know my name?" Beca whispered; unsure of the reply she would get.

"You know why" Chloe said; her voice becoming more deeper with the serious tone. "Aubrey, she doesn't remember you. But I do"

"The record shop-"

"Demon Sister's" Chloe said the cursed words.

Beca felt her heart drop. She was figured out before she even got her things into the house. And out of all people, Chloe Beale was the one to find out. Beca was hoping they would get to be friends.

"Fuck.." Beca whispered. "Listen, we aren't bad"

"I know-"

"I don't get why our families did that. We aren't some out of control freaks, and my mom never did anything!"

"Beca, I kn-"

"It's just so dumb-"

"Hey!" Chloe yelled over Beca causing her to stop ranting. "I know you aren't bad, and it's dumb for what they did to your mom"

Beca was taken back by this. She had no idea Chloe didn't think like the rest of The Beale's and Posen's. To her understanding those two families had a bond of hatred for anyone with a last name that was Mitchell. So why would Chloe think different then them?
