No one spoke for the entire journey back to the bar. Taehyung's eyes were focused straight ahead as he walked. I looked up at his face, he had such beautiful facial features, delicate yet sharp, as if his face had literally been carved out of marble by the gods. The last time I saw any of they boys we were all very young, only starting to go through the motions of puberty.
I could easily tell who had a crush on who, I had a knack for watching body language and facial expressions, there was also the fact that I gossiped with the girls a lot.
Jisoo admired Jin a lot, she would always tell him how she was surprised at his business ethic which made him seem harsh yet he always looked out for the boys, and as for Jin's feelings, well he wasn't very good at hiding them, he always brightened up when Jisoo came over to chat with him and when she looked him in the eyes he would look away with a pink tinge spread on his cheeks.
Jennie practically had googly eyes when it came to Jimin. She would tell us how sweet and nice he was to talk to but also how hot he looked as he hacked into the next targets surveillance system, he would always give her a wide smile with a playful look in his eyes that would drive her just slightly insane.
Lisa had an interest in Hoseok. Both of us were very young but we could still pick our favourites. They had a lot of similar interests, one of them being dance. I went with them one time to practice as I was also interested by it and I couldn't help notice how they watched each other move, a look of wonder and awe on their faces and now that they're older there would no doubt be lust. They were both rays of sunshine that fed off each other's energy, they worked well together.
As for me, well, Jungkook always had a way for making me focus on him. Even when I was in a bad mood and wanted to be on my own he would always come over and do something to show off like 'accidently' do a flip or something equally as distracting, each time he did it I would just roll my eyes but I couldn't help but lower my head and smile to myself afterwards. There was something about him that attracted me. I recalled the scene from earlier in the bar, how much both of us had grown over the years, it was obvious he worked out non stop and that jaw line was as much of a killer as his gun. I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy him leaning over me and wrapping my legs around his waist, but the look on his face when he recognised me was still the best part.
By the time we reached the bar the sun was beginning to set. Jin unlocked the door from the inside and as we entered I noticed that the main room was empty. Taehyung, Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi followed Jin down the hallway that got darker with each step. I had never been in this place before so I wondered where we were going.
We came to a heavy metal door. Jin took out the ring of keys he had in his pocket and picked out the appropriate one that opened the door with a loud creak.
Taehyung carried me inside and sat me on a wooden chair that was placed in the middle of the room. The chair was placed underneath a very bright light that lit up the area around the chair but left the rest of the room in darkness. I noticed there was a lot of stains on the chair, I tried not to think how they got there. Taehyung knelt down beside the chair and picked up the ropes lying on the floor which were also heavily stained. He started to tie the rope around the leg of the chair and my ankles, he then stood up and walked behind me, wrapping the rope around my waist and the back of the chair. At this point I would be lying if I said I wasn't the least bit intimidated and uncomfortable.
I became more uneasy when the other six members of the bangtan boys came into the room. I could just make the outlines of each of them as the bright light above me was blinding. Someone stepped forward and ripped the duct tape off my mouth. I hissed at the pain and lowered my head so that my hair fell in front of my face. I don't know why I felt ashamed but I did, this wasn't how I wanted to meet them again.
"Chaeyoung" a deep and demanding voice called. I kept my head lowered and hoped they would just leave.
"You have nowhere to run to now"
I lifted my head slightly, Namjoon stood slightly more forward than the rest, he looked concerned.
"Fuck sake Chaeyoung did you lose your fucking voice?"
I could hear the agitation in Yoongi's voice.
I lifted my head fully so that my hair fell back from my face.
"I need to leave" I said while glancing at each of their shadows.
"Not before you explain yourself" Jungkook said with a stern tone.
"Tsk, do you really think I'm going to tell you anything"
"I'm getting tired of this" Yoongi said as he walked towards me pulling a gun from his pocket.
My eyes widened as the situation had just turned way more serious, I realised we were no longer members of the same group, technically we were enemies.
Jungkook quickly walked towards Yoongi and took the gun from him. "Hey I thought I was the head of shooting around here"
I looked at Jungkook, he had an angry expression on his face and in that moment I actually felt scared. He then walked over to Namjoon with the gun and whispered in his ear.
"Alright" Namjoon said to Jungkook, then he turned to the rest of the members "Everyone out now".
Without another word each of the members filed out the door. I looked up at Jungkook who was watching the other members leave, he was standing just outside where the light hit, his features were sharp and cast with shadows, his jaw was clenched and his hand gripped Yoongi's gun. He turned his head slowly towards me, his face was emotionless and his eyes glared at me coldly.
For the first time in my life I was scared to be alone with Jungkook.
