Chapter 1. *Kim's POV*
Sigh, it's Monday again. I just hate Mondays! But someone runs through the door and my frown turns to a smile.:) Jack Anderson, my long time crush! We have been best friends since the day he moved in to Seaford. Now that I think of it, I think that I am the first person Jack met in Seaford High School, our current high school. Recently, I am starting to have feelings for him. But a lot of other girls also go for him, but he does'nt seem to like any of them. One example is Grace Hamilton. She WAS my best friend, until she kicked me out of the pep-sqaud just because I beat up the mascot. But he was saying mean things about me, and I really wanted him to have it! Back to the point, most girls love Jack, I mean, who would'nt? He's awesome! He has those nice chocolate brown eyes that match his dreamy smile. I am glad to be his best friend. Well, next to Jerry, Eddie and Milton.
He ran over to Jerry, sorta panicking, "Ssup, dude? Have you seen Kim?" "I'm over here!" I shouted across the hall. As he walked towrds me, I felt a little self-conscious, wondering if I looked okay... "Hey Kim!" He greeted me as I smiled from ear to ear. "Hey! What's up?' He looked at the ceiling and back at me. "Nothing much." I giggled as I knew he was joking with me. " Anyways, can you be my pretend girlfriend?" My eyes widened and stared into his, when I heard 'girlfriend'. Then something struck me. Prentend? Why pretend? "My cousin, Chloe, is coming over from Canada. And I have no idean why, but I told her I have girlfriend. Okay, I have lie-horrea again! Words always come exploding out of me!" Jack explained carefully as I chuckled at his case of lie-horrea.
"Oh okay. Anything for my best friend!" I told him, while thinking, even though we are close and all of the girls there are in this world, he chose ME. I snapped out of it when Jack hugged me and my face lit up a broad smile.
