Aditya was broken, not cuz his Zoya was engaged to someone else. But because his Zoya was pleading him to leave her all by herself and sane.
He can bear anything but not her pleading eyes.😢

Later, in all the ceremonies, be it Mehndi, Sangeet, or Haldi, he remained aloof from Zoya.
On the other hand, Zoya was feeling a void in her life. She tried to be calm by the fact that Aditya finally distanced himself from her. But instead of this making things easier for her, it bothered her to an unimaginable extent. She just couldn't decipher what was wrong with her.

Whereas Aditya was in another mindset. He just couldn't dare to bother her anymore. And thus he took a decision we all dreaded...😨
