Chapter 2

The Revolutionary Army?

Ash was clearly astonished by the sight, not only did he find the PokéMart in ruins but in fact Viridian City Gym was also ruined completely by the destruction. The male stood there almost paralyzed by the sight, not knowing what to do. It was one thing to see this stuff in the movies, but reality...that was indeed frightening to see.

"What has happened here..." the male repeated lowly to himself as he slowly stepped forwards towards the the buildings that now were in ruins. When Ash got close enough he got a firm grip on his shoulder which made Ash slowly turn around to find out that Officer Jenny had tried to stop the male from moving, while shaking her head.

"You are not allowed to go there kid, it is too dangerous. I suggest you and Pikachu get back to the Center and get some rest." If she knew right then the Center would be safe, she was almost 100 percent sure on who might have done this. "Do not worry, you are safe there." She assured the young teen as a smile curled up her lips.

At first, Ash actually was confused. Jenny was helping the people out of the PokéMart and helped people evacuate from the place, but here she was. It took not too long until he finally realized that another Jenny had arrived here.

About the Gym, luckily no people was inside so that was a good thing. Would take time to rebuild it though. Hopefully that would be done when Ash returns here. After all, he knows that the Gym in Viridian City is the very last obstacle before Indigo League.

"Well, I guess you have right. Besides me and Pikachu are tired anyways." The male lied, well he would leave, but he was not tired or anything. Besides he did not want to get into trouble so the best would be to just get some sleep and get out of here.

"Have a good night officer, I believe you need it." With that, the raven haired male walked his way past her and inside the Pokemon Center to lay down by the bed.

Looking up at the ceiling he thought about today's 'main events' and let out a sigh. Life was not that easy to live as expected. "I guess this Journey will be tougher than expected Pikachu..." he whispered to himself as he glanced down on the bed to see the Mouse Pokemon already in a deep sleep, cuddling against Ash's body. "Well I guess I need some sleep as well." Ash exclaimed as he tilted his cap down and closed his eyes, slowly drifting into a deep sleep.

Celadon City Hideout:

Somewhere underground in Celadon City an enraged man growled as he sat on his couch in his office. "My Gym is gone? Who in their stupid mind would commit such action!" Giovanni, known as the Gym Leader of Viridian City and by very few the Leader of the criminal organisation Team Rocket growled out in pure frustration, while he slammed his fist against the glass table, destroying it.

Ariana, Giovanni's lover and the admin of the organisation stood almost paralyzed and a bit frightened by her lover's sudden rage. But in the end how could she blame him. A lot of time and money would be needed to build up the Gym again.

"Darling..." the female managed to speak up as she slowly walked down to sit down beside Giovanni and wrapped an arm around him. "It seems that the one responsible for this is...Kyle." She finished as she closed his eyes.

At that his eyes widened in fear, Kyle that man? That man who have won the Pokemon League six years in a row, in three different REGIONS! Him? There was no way he could ever come close to his power, even though he had Mewtwo in his hands.
