Last night, my first night back in halls, was abuzz with activity. Some of the new first years met outside in the courtyard, so Jack and I went to introduce ourselves to them. I now recognise some new faces, which I will be seeing around for the next year. The new Freshers seem like a really good bunch of people, and they seem to be getting to know each other really well, which is good.
For the other part of the night, Jack invited round a first-year to spend time with us in our kitchen. She seems like a great person and we got to talking quite a bit.
Joel and his girlfriend joined in for some of the night, and it was just a genuinely good time to kick off the year right.
