Its cold out and your meeting your boyfriend shawn for your date yall have been together for 2 years now and he wanted to do something special. you spot him standing by his car and instantly smile you run up to him and jump in his arms giving him a passionate kiss you jump down and say " what are we doing today babe" he kissed your cheek and said "thats for me to know and for you to find out" then added a wink at the end. you chuckle and get in his car he drives away and grabbes your hand you smile at him as the car comes to a stop you look around to find an empty parking lot and look at shawn scared he laughs and says "put this on" and hands you a blindfold you huff and start putting it on he laughs and pulls out. about 20 minuetes later the car comes to a stop and he gets out you hear the door next to you open and shawn chuckles and says "tess you have to get out of the car" you laugh and un-buckle your seat belt and climb out of the car you walk for a bit then shawn stops and says "ready?" you nod anxiously as he takes off the blind fold and look at your surroundings you let out a excited squeal and say "OH MY GOSH... PAINTBALL?!?!" he laughs and yall walk into the building and get the stuff *a/n idk how you do this ive never been so just go along if im wrong* you both walk out to the course and get ready. you run from shawn and hide and hear a buzzer signaling its time to start you see shawn behind a piece of block and shoot him then duck he looked around till his eyes fell on you and he ran towards you. you let out a squeal and started running filling the air with laughter. after an hour passes and you both shoot each other many times shawn says its tome to go. as you were walking out you noticed that shawn looked nervous but you just shook it off. you returned the equipment and walked out. you looked at the time and it was almost 7:30 you lean back in the seat and watch as the sun sets you look at shawn and admire your boyfriend. slowly falling asleep... you awoke to someone carrying you and you look up to see shawn he smiles and said "you fell asleep" you nodded and looked around you laughed and said "why are we at the be-" then stopped mid-sentence when you saw the beautiful picnic you turned towards shawn and smiled you both walked down the beach and sat on the blankets he looked at you and said "before we do this I want to say something" you nodded and shawn got down on one knee and said "tess we have been together for 2 years now and I feel its the right time to do this so will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?" you felt the tears prick in your eyes and nodded your head vigorously and says one simply word that would change your life forever "yes"
