~'Business' Call~

Aphmau's POV

I take ahold of my phone and open up Safari. I look through the phone numbers when I see the one I need, business. I sigh as the number rings before a voice I can't stand answers

"Hello how may I help"

"Hello this is Aphmau Lycan" I say and the person pauses

"I was wondering when I would hear from you again"

"I was looking to get my job back"

"Why did you loose it again"

"I was pregnant" I say to her rather impatiently

"Oh yeah. Are you now"

"No I've had 2 kids"

"So you must be down with them. Look I'm just going to say this outright" she then pauses

"Then just say it"

"You came into work not looking like the other girls. You had baby fat and all of these girls need to be physically fit to a tee" she says snakily

"I'm sorry but I had a baby with my husband. You wouldn't know what that's like" I say sassing her slightly. I know I'm not getting this job back so why not have some fun.

"Excuse me"

"Look you fired me because I had 'baby fat' which is ridiculous. I'm sorry that I was pregnant but you can't tell people what to do because you don't like it" I yell at her

"Good luck finding a job" she says hanging up on me. I throw my phone across the room in anger and Aaron comes down holding Lilith

"Everything okay"

"Yeah"

"Be lucky your phone landed in Celestia's bed"

"I hate the stupid woman"

"You call about getting your job back"

"Yeah but she won't take me back now"

"What did you do"

"It's not important. I know where to go"

"Right well I'm headed out now. See you later" he says handing me Lilith. I get a quick kiss as he leaves the door making me sigh. I guess I can call up in a bit but Zane is literally walking down the drive so maybe later.

"Aph I know the door is unlocked so uhh hey"

"Hi Zane" I say ditto down.

"What's going on with you. I haven't seen you around for a few days"

"Well you remember the snowball fight. When I told you I was pregnant" I say hesitantly

"Yeah what about it. Wait what"

"Zane this is Lilith"

"Well she's a cutie"

"Yeah. She definitely got my eyes" I say smiling at the little girl in my hands.

"She's adorable. You getting another job yet"

"There is one place I was thinking about but they aren't open yet so I'll phone up in a bit" I say as I return to by busy life of scrolling through Netflix. I look through animes when Zane snatches the remote out of my hand and puts on my little horsies. I laugh as we end up watching it. Not long after Zane stands up

"I have my shift now"

"Why does everyone have a job"

"Because we need money and don't live out of someone else's bank account"

"That's Aaron's fault for giving me one of his cards" I say to him

"Right because you couldn't get a job"

"No one hires when someone is pregnant. Besides I wants the job I had before I married Aaron"

"That manager is a bitch though. Once your fired you never get the job back"

"I know. There is another maid cafe that's closer. Walking distance in fact"

"So your gonna try there"

"Yeah the owner is a friend from College"

"Already got some good recognition"

"Maybe. If she remembers me. It's been a few years"
