Hi my name is Emily Roberts.I lived with my little sister Emma and my alcoholic father.we were once a happy family living a happy life until my mother passed away when I was 9, giving birth to my little sister Emma. Ever since she died my father became an alcoholic and gambled all of our money causing us to lose our house. The three of us had nowhere to go until we found an abandoned alley with a broken down old house. We were glad to find somewhere to live even though it was far from perfect. My father began drinking again and i had to find double jobs at the age of 9 so we could survive.years went by and we just got worst. My father began hitting me when he came home drunk in front of little Emma. At the age of 15 I had already gotten 5 jobs. My five jobs still didn't keep me back from getting a great education,in fact I was a straight A student.I had gotten a scholarship into Sandford. Although I wanted to go badly I couldn't leave Emma with my father so I decided not to go. Two years passed, I am now 17 and I must admit life got a little easier until one night. I had just arrived home from work to find something i never thought would happen.......
