I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on my door.

I stood up and walked to my door to see who's here at 6 am.

I opened it and there stood riley, panting like she just ran a mile.

"Riley what's wrong" I asked.

"I just wanted to get here as quick as possible" she breathed.

"Well why the hell did you run" I laughed moving out of the way so she could come in.

"I said I wanted to get here as soon a possible" she laughed finally catching her breath.

"At 6 am" I laughed.

"I had to get her before school started" she said in a duh tone.

"Whatever sit down here while I get ready" I said getting up and walking to my room.

I was in the middle of my shower when I heard someone knock on the door. But I didn't think anything of it because the only person it would be is my mom.

I got out of the shower and got dressed and I cane out of the bathroom and heard two people yelling.

It sounded like Riley's voice. I walked to the living room and Riley and Lucas were arguing with each other.

"What are you doing here" riley said.

"I can come here if I want. I don't have to tell you shit. I don't even like you" Lucas scoffed.

"Whatever" riley scoffed.

"Hey Maya"Lucas said looking over to me.

"Hey Lucas" I said walking over to the couch.

"Maya I told you not to hangout with him. You just don't listen do you" riley scoffed again standing up.

"Oh my god would you stop bitching for like 5 seconds" Lucas said rolling his eyes.

"Lucas be quiet. Riley I can hangout with who ever I want. You're my friend just like Lucas. I don't have to listen to what you say just because your relationship with him didn't work" I said.

"God Maya how could you be so stupid. Maya he's just trying to get in your head. You have to listen to me he's not the good person you think he is" Riley said.

"How the fuck and I'm being stupid. You're talking. About him like he tried to kill you. If you have a problem with the people I'm friends with then don't talk to me it's not that hard" I said. I looked over and just see Lucas with a huge smile on his face.

"See Maya he's already got in your head" riley scoffed.

"Riley just leave you're being ridiculous" I said.

She stored out of the door and slammed it on her way out.

"That was the best thing I've seen all day" Lucas laughed.

"Oh shut up Lucas" I said sitting down on the couch.

"It's hilarious though. The bitch finally got what she deserved" Lucas laughed sitting down next to me.

"Why do you hate her so much Lucas" I asked him.

"She's a bitch" he said looking away.

"Give me a real reason" I said moving his chin so he was facing me.

"Because I just don't like her" he scoffed.

"Lucas" I said.

" I don't like her because she gets whatever she wants. She has an amazing life that she doesn't deserve. She has a family that loves and I guess I'm just jealous of that" he whispered looking down again.

"Don't say that" I said.

"Maya you don't understand" Lucas said.

"What don't I understand" I asked

"I don't have a mom" he whispered.

"What?" I asked. Because I genuinely couldn't hear what he said.

"My mom died" he shouted. Scaring me a little. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he said looked down again.

I could tell he was upset. I feel bad for making him say it again.

"Well if it makes you feel better my dad left me when I was little" I said. Whenever I would think about it I always thought it was my fault. No matter what anyone would tell me I always thought he left because of me.

"Oh" he said. We just sat there in silence for a few minutes.

"Lucas" I said.

"Yeah" he said.

"I'm sorry"

"About what" he asked finally looking at me.

"Always getting on your nerves" I said looking at him.

"Oh trust me you're not as bad as other people. When I see you I actually enjoy it. When I see other people I get annoyed" he chucked.

"Oh really" I giggled.

"Your giggle is adorable" he said seriously.

"No it's not. It's embarrassing" I laughed.

"Well I think it's cute" he said. My cheeks started to get red and hot. I bet I looked like a damn tomato.

"Well we should start heading to school" I said awkwardly while standing up.

"Yeah" he said. And with that we left.

Sorry that it took so long for me to update. I just have school and I can not sit here long enough to do it. But I'll try to update more.💗
