Hunger Games, Harry Potter and Narnia.

An equation with an easy answer...

War.

Seriously, Harry Potter, a war. Narnia, a war. The Hunger Games, a rebellion/war. It all adds up.

So Narnia. The Pevensie family are not just warriors, they're wizards. Their swords are wands. Well, the silver is a cover, unharmful when only the owner removes it. Sorted into Gryffindor, is Peter Pevensie. Sorted into Slytherin, is Edmund Pevensie. Lucy Pevensie is in Hufflepuff, and Susan Is in Ravenclaw. You might be wondering- "Why are they all in different houses?" Well, our answer is this : It really only depends on your personality. Just because you're part of a certain family, doesn't mean you have to be in a certain house. A Malfoy could just be in Hufflepuff! And maybe a Weasley in Ravenclaw!

Now, off to the Hunger games. The Hunger games was really only an extreme version of the triwizard tournament. It happens every two hundred years, because of the extreme danger. When I say "extreme" I mean death. Only two wizards/witches can come out alive.

Now, If you were asking, the story is not in fact based heavily around Harry Potter. Harry Potter's taken a holiday to scotland, and he hasn't seen the dark side of his children yet. They unleash it whenever their parents are gone.
