Chapter 1: The Surprise

*9 years later*

"Sidney, guess what!" you heard your bestfriend yelling from down the road. You started to run down the gravel road. "Whats going on? Why are you so happy?" You couldn't help but smile seeing your bestfriend smile so big."I have good news and bad news. Which do you wanna hear firs-, you know, nevermind. Bad news later, I'm going to be on the UK x factor! Isn't that brilliant?" He kept smiling. You knew Harry sang. He was very well at it. He was in a band, White Eskimo, you would go to all of their gigs and rehearsals. You loved hearing them play. "Harry! Thats amazing, I can't believe you got in! I'm so very happy for you!" You ran up and hugged him close and tight. You didn't want to let go, because you knew that he would have to leave you for a while. "Do you still uh, wanna know the erm..bad news?" You looked at him, you knew exactly what he was going to say. He was leaving, because the x factor is in London and we are in Holmes Chapel many hours away. "The bad news is, I have to go to London for a while" You tried to look okay with it, but your eyes gave away everything. Harry could tell when you  were sad by looking at your eyes, they were puffy, but your pupils always got smaller when you were upset. You didn't want to hear those words, cause you knew you would break down in tears. "I can't believe you are leaving Holmes Chapel." You thought you would never have to say those words. He looked down at you and hugged you tight. "Yes, but only for a little while. This could be a huge opportunity, Sid! I have to do it!" He didnt let go of you, since he knew you were crying. You sniffled. "When do you leave?" you could tell Harry didn't want to say, he kept fidgeting with his hands. uh. lets not worry about that..." You were about to get angry. "Harry, when do you leave!?" You started raising your voice. Harry looked at you, you could tell he was very sad. "uh, mm..erm, tomorrow, 3:15am. I uh, I know I should have told you when I got the news a few weeks ago, so we could spend time together." A FEW WEEKS AGO!? your bestfriend didn't tell you he was leaving for many months to London to get a singing career, and you know about it the day before he leaves? "W-w-what?! Tomorrow? Harry no, you can't leave me. Sophomore year starts up in 2 months, your gonna miss it all!" He was totally confused. I think he forgot about the school year starting up soon. "I know, I know, I'm gonna miss atleast the first 2 semesters." You looked up at him, "Harry, I'm glad you're leaving. You're right, big opportunity. Don't wanna miss it. Have a lot of fun. Bye." You were walking away when Harry grabbed your hand. "Awe, babe. Don't make me feel bad. It won't be long. Think of it as a few days. I'll see you soon?" You kissed his cheek. "See you soon." He hugged you and walked back down the gravel road.
