Depression

Introduction

Hi my name is shannon and I live in the East Midlands in England

Before you all ask yeah I suffer depression and no am not writing this for attention I am writing this to tell the story of a depressed girl I know and also every other girl in the world with depression.

My story starts one cold morning in December when a 13 Year old girl is woken to get ready for school she looks like any ordinary girl but when you look deep down you realise she is dying inside and her arms legs and hips are covered in scars and cuts from the night before this is what her depression causes. Her depression however started from her parent arguing and splitting up and her also being bullied at school the thing is she never told anyone about this she just kept it all inside of her and the way she lets it out is a blade on her skin.

At school her friends never noticed anything neither did the teachers as she always had a smile on her face and was always laughing and joking with all her mates the only person that new all this was fake was her best friend she was the only one who new about her self harming and depression and about her going home every night and cried there was also a day when the girl tried to commit suicide but her mum got her to hospital in time and that's when she told me everything and it really touched me so then I told her everything and since then we have been best friends. now I am gonna write about her life at school and her friendship with me.
